A little trick for long, tedious large-scale projects

Draw a cute smile on your thumbnail.
Anyone who sees such a nice smile while crocheting won’t give up and will bravely finish even the most boring patterns ;)

That’s so cute! I’d never have thought of that.
It’s not quite right for me at the moment — I’ve currently got a plaster on my thumb because of a split nail, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind.
I’ve even got one of those UFO projects, so I could try it on that.

You could also draw a face on your band-aid... then it might heal a little faster ;) Get well soon!
