Introduction, if that’s what people do here?

Hi everyone :)

I couldn’t find anything about this, so please don’t stone me if there’s already a thread for it, but I just wanted to briefly introduce myself.

My name is Yvonne and I’m 32 years old. I’ve been living in Ludwigshafen with my partner and our three cats since last year. One of my passions is crocheting. I learned it back in school, but I only ever crocheted for 1–2 weeks at a time. Since I was able to teach myself a few things via YouTube and the like, my passion for crocheting has really taken off, and it has almost become an addiction. If I can’t crochet for some reason, whether due to lack of time or lack of ideas, I feel like something is missing. I’ve recently joined this community and am happy to be here with you, to show my creations and admire yours. Since I haven’t been on the computer very often over the last few months, I haven’t really been around, let alone introduced myself, so I wanted to make up for that now. A few of you have already given me some nice tips, which I’ve mostly been able to put into practice so far.

That’s all from me for now, and I wish you all continued fun and success with designing, making patterns, and crafting in general.

I’ve been selling my patterns on CP for 6 weeks now and have recently started reading along here in the forum. Now it’s time for me to introduce myself briefly.
My name is Elke, and I live near Munich with my two teenage kids, two cats, and two guinea pigs. A few months ago, I discovered CP and was totally fascinated by the opportunity to sell patterns here. My passion has always been jewelry design (I’ve even published a few craft books on the subject), but in recent years, I’ve become more and more captivated by crocheting and its endless creative possibilities. Even as a child, I did a lot of crocheting, knitting, and crafting. I think it’s so great that this platform exists, allowing people to earn a little extra income from home through their passion. I also find the way authors interact with each other here in the forum to be very friendly and fair—it really makes you want to get involved!
