This beautiful tank top is just right for hot days. It can be made in all sizes. Thanks to adjustable straps,
a good fit is ensured even after repeated washing. Whether with gradient yarn or in a solid color, it is wonderful to look at.

Click here to go to the pattern:

Materials needed:
  • For women's size 36/38, I used approx. 900 m of 4-ply yarn (for larger sizes, plan for correspondingly more)
  • Crochet hook to match the yarn (size 3 was used here)
  • 4 buttons, 12 mm - 15 mm

Or how about this pretty summer top? With a little perseverance, you can also lengthen it into a dress. The bust circumference and length of the top are individually adjusted to the wearer, so larger sizes are of course possible too. You can also decide whether you want to wear it as a tank top or as a
halter top. There is also a
button placket at the back for the perfect fit.

The pattern is divided by cup sizes:
  • Cup size A
  • Cup size B - C
  • Cup size D - DD

  • Click here to go to the pattern:

    Materials needed:
    • For cup size B - C and women's size 36/38, I used approx. 800 m of 4-ply yarn
    • For cup size D - DD and women's size 42/44, I used approx. 900 m of 4-ply yarn
    • Crochet hook size 3 + possibly 3.5
    • 2 buttons 15mm - 18 mm
    • possibly beads

With this tunic called "Mädchentraum" (Girl’s Dream), the name says it all. Whether as a short top, long shirt, dress, or tied under the bust as a tunic, it is an absolute dream for summer.
And the best part: You can wear it inside out, and the other side also has a beautiful pattern and
looks completely different. It is crocheted from top to bottom in one piece,
so no annoying weaving in ends.

This trapezoid shawl called "Sweet Dreams" stands out thanks to its unusual shape. It offers many different ways to wear it and has a beautiful pattern. With the specified yarn and hook size, the shawl has
a length of approx. 1.85 m x 0.60 m. It is relatively easy to crochet, so even ambitious beginners should have no problems. You should only have knowledge of chain stitches,
single crochet, double crochet, and front post double crochet
    stitches.

This knitted stole in brioche stitch is very well suited for gradient yarn.

You can find the stole here
    .

The pattern is for cotton blend yarn with a yardage of 329 m per 100 g. Of course, you can also use other yarns. Depending on the desired size, though, you should plan for quite a bit, at least 600 m. Brioche stitch is very soft, but it also uses a lot of yarn.
How to do it is shown in a tutorial.

One scarf that works especially well with gradient yarn is “Poesia.”
It’s easy to knit, mostly in stockinette stitch, with a narrow lace border to keep things interesting. What makes this scarf special is that it’s knitted on the bias, which really showcases yarns with long color gradients or hand-dyed sock yarns.

You can read more about it here.

A beautiful alternative to triangular shawls is this rectangular shawl, which can be worn in all sorts of different ways!
Drape it around your shoulders like a stole one time, wear it like a light scarf another time, let it hang down on both sides, or wear it loosely crossed… it’s so versatile!

You’ll need a 3-ply gradient yarn cake (of course, you can use any other yarn!) with 1000 m/200 g, a size 3.5 crochet hook, and you’re all set to go!

Perfect for beginners, since everything is explained in great detail!

Perfect for Bobbel cakes with color gradients is the crochet pattern for the shawl Blue Lagoon.

Blue Lagoon is crocheted in a classic triangular shape from top to bottom.
Post double crochet stitches alternate with a shell pattern, and the edge is crowned with a clever pattern of post double crochet stitches that form a leaf.
The shawl looks especially beautiful with gradient yarn, but it can also be made in a solid-colored yarn.

    Materials needed:
    • approx. 1200 meters of sock-weight yarn (e.g. 4-ply gradient Bobbel cake, Zauberball by Schoppel)
    • Size 4 crochet hook
    • Scissors
    • Sewing needle
    • (Optional) material for tassels
    Skills needed:
    • Basic knowledge
    • Front post double crochet
    • Back post double crochet
    • Crocheting stitches together

Measurements after completion: approx. 190 x 70 cm.
Difficulty level: easy (for ambitious beginners) to intermediate.
The pattern is 11 pages long and includes detailed written instructions as well as detailed, professionally created crochet charts and a schematic drawing.

Bobbels and/or gradient yarn are also great for knitting.
Just like the knitted shawl Tinuviel.

Tinuviel is a large, crescent-shaped shawl designed specifically for Schoppel’s “Laceball 100” and “Zauberball 100” lace yarns, but it can also be knitted with any other lace yarn (or even a Bobbel ). It’s knitted from top to bottom, with even increases along the edge and within the shawl to create its shape.

    Materials needed:
    • approx. 800 meters of lace yarn (e.g., Laceball by Schoppel)
    • Circular knitting needle, size 3–4 mm
    • Beads (e.g., rocailles)
    • A piece of very thin wire or dental floss
    • Sewing needle
    • Scissors
    • Kitchen scale

    Required skills:
    • knit stitch
    • purl stitch
    • yarn overs
    • knitting stitches together

If you decide to incorporate beads, you’ll find a short tutorial on how to knit them in later in the pattern.
The pattern is 9 pages long and includes detailed charts (knitting charts—not written instructions) and a diagram.
    Difficulty level: intermediate

You just can't get enough of Bobbel yarn cakes and are still looking for a great pattern for your next Bobbel?
Then get the crochet pattern for the wrap Tausendschön.

Tausendschön is a large and beautiful wrap. Thanks to its slightly asymmetrical shape, it can be worn in many different ways. The many little flowers, which also gave the scarf its name, are crocheted on as you go and are the highlight!

The wrap can be crocheted using many yarn weights. The size can also be varied freely.

    Materials needed:
    • approx. 1500 meters of 3- to 4-ply yarn (e.g., lace yarn, gradient yarn cake, or sock yarn)
    • crochet hook size 3–4
    • sewing needle
    • scissors
    • kitchen scale (to calculate the yarn usage)
    • possibly some spray starch
    Skills needed:
    • chain stitches
    • single crochet
    • slip stitches
    • double crochet
    • crocheting stitches together
A photo tutorial shows how the flowers are crocheted.
Finished measurements: approx. 184–90 cm (but it can also be made smaller or larger).
The pattern is 12 pages long and includes written instructions as well as charts, a schematic drawing, and a photo tutorial.

    Difficulty level: easy.

This loop scarf is crocheted from gradient yarn, also known as a Bobbel. It is aimed especially at beginners. The pattern is easy to crochet, but the color gradient still creates a very beautiful tube scarf.

Only the so-called standard stitches are needed, in this case chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet.

You will need a 3-ply Bobbel with 750 m of yardage.

You can find all further information, as well as the pattern, here: Crochet pattern - crochet the "Margery" loop / tube scarf

This knitted sock-yarn scarf also looks great in gradient yarn. The small eyelets incorporated into the design are really fun to knit—a photo tutorial shows exactly how they’re made.
One 100g skein of sock yarn is enough for this project, and it’s knitted on 3.5mm needles.
