Spinning

Hi,
does anyone here spin the wool they use themselves?
What kind of spinning wheel do you have, and how did you learn to spin?
I’ve decided to take a class and try it out with a rental spinning wheel.

Unfortunately, I don’t spin myself—at least not wool.

But I’d absolutely love to do that too, but unfortunately there aren’t any classes in our area.

Hi,
the spinning class was great! I tried out different wheels and liked the lacquered Kromski best. With a bit of beginner’s gear, it came to 400 euros. My husband says I’d be better off spending half that on pre-spun wool to knit with for now. Too bad! I guess spinning isn’t going to happen after all!
