Dear users, dear authors,
Easter is over, and Advent and Christmas are still a long way off. Anyone who wants to celebrate or needs time to relax / vacation can look forward to it, because there are many holidays coming up soon: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day / Ascension Day, and of course Pentecost.
For Pentecost, flowers are especially lovely, as are decorations for the breakfast table, such as table runners, egg cozies, and egg cups. Of course, you’ll also need a new bread basket. Festive clothing for a cozy meal with the family can also be a good idea.
Start your Pentecost patterns now.

@Authors,
in this advertising thread for all authors, each CP author may present up to 3 patterns with an image, link, information about the material, technique, difficulty level, and what makes the pattern special. Good luck.

Here I can also introduce a few of my patterns that you can use to pretty up your table. That makes lunch, breakfast, and brunch with family and friends even more fun.

The "Butterfly Flight" egg cozies bring color to the table. You can crochet them in lots of different colors and use up your leftover yarn at the same time. The pattern includes lots of pictures for the individual steps and detailed explanations. That makes the cluster stitches, lower-inserted stitches, and treble crochets doable too.
Crochet pattern: Crochet the "Butterfly Flight" egg cozies.

These baskets are wonderful to use as bread baskets. They are quick to crochet because textile yarn is used. Textile yarn is a by-product of fabric production and is available in lots of different colors and ever-new patterns.
Crochet pattern:Crochet 2 baskets from textile yarn

Eddie the Octopus is a truly different kind of table decoration. He is actually an egg cozy, because there is room for up to eight eggs in his arms. He keeps them nice and warm.

Unicorn Egg Cups
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

Brighten up your breakfast table with these cute unicorn egg cups. The unicorn egg cups will put a smile on your face first thing in the morning. They make great gifts and are real eye-catchers :-) What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 20g of white yarn, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. I used 100% cotton, which makes the egg cup nice and sturdy.
  • Scraps of pink yarn (for the unicorn’s mouth), also suitable for a 3mm hook
  • Scraps of white yarn, suitable for a 2mm hook (for the ears)
  • Scraps of purple or yellow/gold yarn, suitable for a 2mm hook (for the horn)
  • Yarn for the mane and tail
  • 6mm safety eyes
  • Stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers
16-page crochet pattern with lots of pictures
Difficulty level: Easy—you should be familiar with the basic crochet techniques (making a magic ring, crocheting in spiral rounds, single crochet, sewing on individual pieces...). The pattern uses only single crochet stitches, so it’s also suitable for beginners. Now I hope you have lots of fun crocheting. Do you have any questions? Just send me a message, and I’ll reply as soon as possible :-)

Little Sheep Egg Cups
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

Crochet these cute little sheep egg cups!! They’ll brighten up any breakfast table and make you smile first thing in the morning just by looking at them. The little sheep are truly a fun eye-catcher and also make great gifts! I crochet the “fur-like” texture using bobbles. I explain this in detail at the beginning of the pattern using pictures. I also use plenty of pictures throughout the rest of the pattern to better illustrate each step. This makes the crochet pattern quick and easy to follow! You should be comfortable working with single crochet stitches: increasing and decreasing stitches, as well as making a magic ring. 16 illustrated pages of crochet pattern
Difficulty level: medium, but easy to understand and quick to make thanks to the many pictures. What you’ll need
  • A 3mm crochet hook. Approximately 15–20g of yarn/wool in the color of your choice (white, cream, beige, brown, black... after all, sheep come in all sorts of colors ;-) ). This yarn should be suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. I crocheted the sheep using 100% cotton yarn, which makes them nice and sturdy.
  • Some stuffing for the head and feet
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • Googly eyes and superglue

With this pretty summer top, you're sure to be perfectly dressed for Pentecost. You can crochet it as a top or, with a little perseverance, lengthen it into a dress. The pattern is divided by cup sizes:
  • Cup size A
  • Cup size B - C
  • Cup size D - DD

  • The bust measurement and length of the top are individually adjusted to the wearer.
You can also decide whether you would like to wear it as a tank top or as a halter neck. There is also a button placket at the back for the perfect fit.

Click here to go to the pattern:

    Materials needed:
    • For cup size B - C and women's size 36/38, I used approx. 800 m of 4-ply yarn
    • For cup size D - DD and women's size 42/44, I used approx. 900 m of 4-ply yarn
    • Crochet hook size 3 + possibly 3.5
    • 2 buttons 15mm - 18 mm
    • possibly beads

Theodor is loyal at Pentecost, too!

No matter what the holiday, with this soccer door wreath you’ll have a decoration for the whole year.

With the colors of your favorite team, you can easily customize it however you like.

I worked with cotton, crochet thread, and thicker yarn for the wreath. The wreath has a diameter of 22 cm. The

This wonderful knitted set is especially perfect for Pentecost. It is comfortable and also something special. You can buy the knitting pattern for both pieces separately in my shop.

The romantic summer skirt - a dream in pink and white with playful hem ornaments

The skirt also goes very well with a shirt, a blouse, or a top. I’ll introduce the matching top to you right after this.
The skirt is knitted in one piece from top to bottom and can also be made very easily by knitting beginners with basic knowledge. The pattern can also be easily adapted for all sizes. It is written for sizes 38-42.

Here you can find the knitting pattern for the romantic summer skirt

The airy, lightweight summer top - a dream in white and pink

This top goes perfectly with the skirt above. But you can also wear it wonderfully with jeans or with one of your skirts. The pattern makes it airy, and the fine cotton makes it very lightweight. Knitting beginners will enjoy it, because it is super easy to make. It has almost no seams and only needs to be sewn together (or crocheted together) at the top.
The pattern was written for sizes 38-42, but it can also be very easily adapted to other sizes, both in length and width - even the neckline can be lengthened as desired.

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, the pattern also includes a chart in crochet chart form.

This pattern is designed for sizes S-M and M-L.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

A light yet warm shawl for sitting on the patio with the family in the evening or with friends in an outdoor dining area is never a bad idea.

    Take a look.

The stole is knitted from sock yarn and is therefore lightweight. It begins with a charming lace pattern that then transitions into a wide rib pattern. It is knitted lengthwise; you simply knit until it is as long as you like.
You’ll need a 4 mm circular needle for this, and the amount of yarn required depends on the desired size. The pattern is written out in full and also shown in a knitting chart.

One celebration – one decoration idea – two functions: First, you can welcome your guests with the praline roses, and when it gets darker, place a tea light inside each rose – pretty, romantic, and very practical!

What makes it especially nice is that you can easily match the colors to the rest of your decoration or – if you especially like colorful things – design each rose differently: Fortunately, the photo cardstock from which the roses are made is available in many colors and shades.
The tea light or praline holder is about 13 cm in size and very easy to make, even for beginners: In the illustrated instructions, I explain step by step how it works.

    Crazy Hornet crochet pattern

--> Click here for the pattern

It doesn't always have to be cute.....

Most people have a healthy respect for hornets, and so do I, especially when they look this angry. The hornet is a perfect gift for men, because as everyone knows, they love the "evil eye" look and can put this hornet in their car.

But the hornet can also become the life of the party if you sew it onto a pair of underwear and have the man of your dreams make an appearance with it ;)

    Difficulty level: very easy

    What you need:
    Gründl Happy yarn (100 g = 250 m yardage):
    • Yellow approx. 60 g
    • Black approx. 20 g
    • Red approx. 10-15 g
    • White approx. 10 g
    • A little white fabric plus red and black Edding marker for the mouth
    • Glue
    • Crochet hook: 3.5, yarn needle and scissors, and stuffing material
    What you need to know:

Chain stitches, single crochet, magic ring, half double crochet, increasing and decreasing stitches

With the help of this pattern, you can crochet a pretty tunic/top for summer. This tunic/top is stylish and goes well with many outfits.
    • It was crocheted using a soft, high-quality yarn made of 55% silk and 45% cotton, making it very comfortable to wear. Of course, you can use any other yarn, but I recommend using a cotton-blend yarn for summer.
    • The pattern includes detailed photos and is suitable for beginners with basic crochet skills. This pattern is quite simple, as you only need to know how to make chain stitches, double crochets, and single crochets. Crochet hook size 4

Just fluttered freshly into my little shop: Table Runner "Summer Mood"

The combination of a light butterfly motif and floral ornaments makes the “Summer Mood” table runner an atmospheric eye-catcher on a table, counter, or sideboard. The crochet pattern explains how to make the "Summer Mood" table runner over 11 pages with detailed descriptions, numerous pictures, templates, and crochet charts. Solid basic crochet skills are required (see below), but special techniques such as filet crochet from a template and extended double crochet are explained in detail and with pictures.

Once finished and blocked, the table runner measures approx. 100 x 40 cm (cotton yarn with a 2.5 mm hook). The length can be changed by lengthening or shortening the white pattern sections.

     Required skills ✿
    • Crocheting in rows
    • Chain and slip stitches
    • Single crochet and double crochet
    • Weaving in ends

A beautiful lace shawl that works up very quickly thanks to its simple and delicate pattern is the Fuego shawl.

The pattern in this beautiful crocheted lace shawl looks like little flames licking upward, and that’s where the name comes from. Fuego is Spanish and means "fire".

The shawl is started at the neck edge and crocheted from top to bottom. It has a classic triangular shape.

    Materials needed:

    • approx. 200 grams or approx. 750–800 meters of yarn (e.g., lace yarn, sock yarn, or a “cake” of gradient plied yarn)
    • crochet hook size 3–3.5
    • scissors
    • sewing needle
    Skills needed:
    • chain stitches
    • single crochet
    • double crochet
    • treble crochet
Finished shawl measurements: approx. 180 x 80 cm.
The pattern is 10 pages long and includes written instructions as well as charts and a schematic drawing. Difficulty level: easy.
