I’m Emil. I actually wanted to be a duck. But life as a raven isn’t so bad either.
I do sit around on roofs more than in trees. That’s because I can get a better look at the balconies to see if someone has put out something to eat. For a hazelnut like that, I’ll come up with quite a few ideas...but that’s another story.

Single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet, two eyes and stuffing. Use the yarn you have at home. From 70 g if you crochet with acrylic. A little more with cotton. 
It’s best to get started right away, then I can lounge around comfortably with you on the couch sometime too :-)

Here’s where you’ll find Trudi

Trudi is a lovable duck who is simply looking for a nice home. She especially loves romping around in a green meadow when there’s a small lake nearby. Sometimes she also just hangs out with Emil the raven and likes to chatter silly stuff :-)

Trudi is approx. 25–30 cm tall, depending on the yarn weight used. Single crochet, increases and decreases—a project that ambitious beginners will enjoy too. You’ll need approx. 130 g of cotton yarn; here I used organic cotton from Lana Grossa, a size 3 crochet hook, stuffing, a blunt needle, and, if you like, two teddy bear eyes, or simply embroider the eyes. Of course, Trudi can be crocheted with any yarn/wool you like. This only changes the size and the amount of material needed. 

For little ones and grown-ups... Trudi is simply fun :-)

Donnie Donkey is by no means a stubborn donkey. At 44 cm long, he’s really cuddly and ideal for snuggling all day long.

Personally, I recommend cotton yarn for making all of my amigurumi.

Victor and Victoria Bird are already geared up for winter: with a hat and scarf. Because they definitely don’t want to head south to warmer places.
