Crochet Top "Spotlights"

--> Click here for the pattern

This airy summer top is perfect for the beach or for your next evening outfit when paired with a matching camisole. If you extend the main pattern by several repeats, you can also turn it into a lovely beach dress. Thanks to two snaps, you can wear this top in two different ways. One option is the classic straps, which can be detached at the back and then tied at the nape of the neck, turning it into a halterneck top. A total of four different stitch patterns are used. The patterns are fully charted and also provided in written form, so you can decide whether you want to work from the crochet chart or the written instructions.
Difficulty level: Easy
Required skills: Chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, picot
Yarn:

Approx. 200-300 g of any yarn cake - 4-ply - 1000-1500 m running length 2 snaps Recommended hook size: 3.5

The sweet summer lion Lennox
Go directly to the crochet pattern here

You should know how to
  • Crochet single crochet stitches in spiral rounds
  • Make a magic ring
  • Slip stitches
  • Sew on the individual parts
  • So, basic general crochet skills
Scope 25-page crochet pattern with lots of pictures for every step. I also won’t leave you on your own when sewing the individual parts together
Difficulty level Easy, though you should have worked in spiral rounds before. What you need:
  • Approx. 20g yarn (Schoeller Stahl Zimba medium in color 0218) in the color you want your lion to be. The yarn should be suitable for a 3mm crochet hook (the Schoeller Stahl yarn recommends a 3.5mm hook, but it crochets wonderfully with a 3mm hook)
  • Approx. 20g strands for the lion’s mane (I used eyelash yarn, but it also works really well with normal leftover yarn).
  • White leftover yarn suitable for a 2mm crochet hook
  • Brown thread for the nose
  • Safety eyes (8 mm)
  • Stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Pins to hold the individual limbs in place before sewing them together
Now let’s get started! Do you have any questions? Then send me a message, I’ll answer as soon as possible :-)

So it's wonderful when you can really show them off at home in a crocheted vase you made yourself.

That's why this month there's 15% off this crochet pattern: Crocheted Flower Vase

An empty large jar, yarn or thread in your favorite colors, and a size 4 crochet hook.

Now in May: a 50% bargain here - 2 patterns at half price:

Two knitting patterns: baby socks with cable and baby shoes

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

50% OFF:
2 detailed knitting patterns incl. sock charts, also for adults up to size 47.

This keeps baby feet well equipped.

Leftover yarn can be wonderfully used for those sweet little feet.

For baby socks with cable and the baby shoes, the following are included as a PDF download:

  • Baby shoes "Jakob" - illustrated pattern and short instructions plus sketch
  • Gauge conversion table in PDF format for looking up and printing
  • Baby sock pattern size 15 (basically an illustrated sock-knitting tutorial) with short instructions and charts for sizes 15 to 47
    plus sketch

Basic knitting skills
are enough.

Difficulty level for baby shoes: easy; for baby socks: medium (easy for experienced knitters).

Material
:
The baby socks are knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, size 2.5, using 4-ply sock yarn (approx. 15 g for sizes 15 to 22). A cable needle (size 2.5) is required for the cable.

For the baby shoes, I used 50 g of soft merino yarn with approx. 120 m - 130 m yardage per 50 g skein, color petrol, for knitting needle size 3–4, approx. 20 g of matching leftover yarn in the same yarn weight, color eggshell white or light beige (= leftover yarn), gauge according to the label: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm; used here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, and for the bow a 3.0 crochet hook.
