What’s in your yarn basket?

Have you found some really nice yarn and are you working on a project with it right now?
I’d love some suggestions because I’d like to buy some more yarn soon and try something different from ribbon yarn. So I’d appreciate any input :)

So, depending on what I’m crocheting, I use the following yarns:

Catania, Superglanz, Limone, Playa

Batika, Novela,

Catania Grande

various yarns from on-line; they have different lines

and I also like to buy yarn from Supergarne; for example, I really love the bamboo yarn

Schulgarn from Bellalana

Teddy yarn

Soft-Mouline from KK (Klaus Koch Collection)

hand-dyed sock yarn

and many more

it simply depends on what you like to crochet and which hooks you have available :)

one of my favorite yarns is Jawoll Magic by Lang. It’s actually a sock yarn with gorgeous color gradients, but it’s really too good to use “just” for socks. That’s why I also use it for baby booties, shawls… Likewise, Kolibri by Rellana and Meilenweit Magico by Lana Grossa are lovely too. But they’re all quite similar

That reminds me of something I was thinking a few days ago: it would be nice if the gallery could include which yarn was used to make the items. Then, if I really like a piece, I could get the right yarn for it right away. Or is that too much “yarn advertising”???
I guess that’s more a question for the platform owner ;-)

Oh, and one more thing. One of my favorite suppliers is Woll-factory. I absolutely have to include some Noro yarn in my next order *grin*—I’ve had my eye on it for a long time

I feel the same way as Sternen-Welt — I’ve ordered from there too. I also enjoy knitting with On-line, Catania and a few others.

My favorites are the yarns from Drops Design—affordable and great quality!

 Right now, I have a ton of leftover yarn in there—I need to stock up again soon.

If you have lots of colorful leftover yarn, maybe you can make a few pretty little things with it. But a big yarn shopping spree is always a good thing. Have you found anything yet? Or are you still looking or ordering yarn?
