With a little trick, this beautiful stole can be transformed very quickly into a light, delicate poncho. 

Fanyamar was designed for lace yarn, as this best brings out its delicate and airy character. Nevertheless, the stole also looks absolutely gorgeous in thicker yarns such as sock yarn. However, the chosen yarn should definitely not be any thicker.

Materials needed:

• approx. 150 grams of yarn (approx. 750 meters) lace yarn (e.g. Lace Seta / Lace Seta degradé by Lana Grossa, Laceball by Schoppel)
• 4 mm circular knitting needle; I recommend a cable system with interchangeable needle tips
• kitchen scale
• stitch markers, if needed
• sewing needle for weaving in the ends
• scissors
• if needed, a crochet hook and beads for the cord, or a piece of thin satin ribbon so the stole can be worn as a poncho

The stole is started at one corner with only 3 stitches. It gets its shape through regular increases and decreases. The pattern includes stitch counts for 2 different sizes.
The narrower version measures approx. 60 x 160 cm after blocking.
The pattern is 12 pages long and includes a written version as well as charts and a schematic drawing.

Difficulty level: intermediate to advanced.

Crochet Pattern Lace Shawl Airy-Light

Quick and easy, this shawl is crocheted from the center outward. It can be worn in many ways, e.g. as a shoulder shawl / poncho / triangular shawl / neckerchief / scarf / hooded scarf..

These crochet skills are enough: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches.

Material:
Basically, any yarn you like can be used, with a hook about one to two sizes larger than recommended on the respective yarn label. Fine lace yarns are especially recommended for this pattern. 4-ply sock yarn also works well.

approx. 80 g Daphne lace yarn (Schoeller+Stahl), 75% virgin wool, 25% polyamide, 50 g – 400 m for needle size 3.0 to 4.0; used here: crochet hook size 4.5, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. Pins for blocking.

Simple, but very striking, is my Snow White shawl. It is knitted in two different patterns, in two colors or just one, and the size can be varied as desired.
You need a total of 420 m of sock yarn for it (for a wingspan of 150 cm—if you want it larger, then of course more), 350 m of that in the main color. Plus a 4 mm circular knitting needle.
The pattern is written out and shown in knitting charts.

The "Nite Flite" stole is knitted lengthwise. It has a pretty lace edging at the bottom, a simple rib pattern toward the top, and can be worked to any width you like—a narrow scarf, a wider stole, or even a wrap if you keep knitting.
For mine, with a length of 150 cm and a width of 30 cm, I used 565 m of sock yarn, all on 4 mm needles.

Today I’d like to show you two shawls.

First, my Chiuvana shawl, which was crocheted with 3-ply yarn and a
3.5 hook. I used gradient yarn. The
shawl can be made larger or smaller as desired, since the
pattern repeats. The shawl consists of double crochets, slip stitches,
chain stitches, and single crochets, and is easy to recreate. The

pattern includes both written instructions and a crochet chart.


The second shawl is called the Papillon Shawl and was also crocheted with 3-ply yarn and a 3.5 hook. I
used solid-color yarn, but it can certainly also be made with
gradient yarn. This shawl was worked using
the filet crochet technique. The complete diagram
of the shawl is included in the pattern, along with an explanation of how to crochet
it. You’ll need double crochets, triple crochets, and
chain stitches.

I have one more thing—this rectangular shoulder shawl. The original is made from merino wool with a yardage of 160 m per 50 g, using 3.5 mm needles. Of course, you can also use other yarns, depending on what you like to wear and find comfortable. You can read more details here .

We’ll also need:
a yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. Stitch markers are helpful for beginners, and pins may be needed for blocking.

Ayana—a light and airy half-moon-shaped crochet shawl

The Ayana shawl is a bit of a challenge, since each row has a different stitch pattern—but that’s what keeps things interesting.
In addition to the written row-by-row instructions, the pattern includes photos for each row and a crochet chart. You should have some crochet experience to tackle Ayana.

PayaLa is a super-simple lace shawl made from Yak Lace.

I wanted a lightweight scarf for cool mornings or evenings, and this yarn is perfect for that!! It was dyed by Gesa Drechsler (Buttjebeyy). It can also be used as a shawl and is super cozy!!
It’s a relatively simple lace pattern that’s easy to pick up. It’s 16 rows tall and is clearly explained with a chart. It’s absolutely beginner-friendly.
You’ll need 2 skeins.
It can also be knitted with any other lace yarn, but it should have a total length of at least 700 m, or better yet, 800 m.
