Photos from the streifgetier Oily Crochet Contest Benefiting German Children’s Cancer Aid

Some time ago, a crochet contest organized by streifgetier started on Facebook.

Unlike previous contests, however, there was a small participation fee—not because I wanted to enrich myself (you can hardly call a fee starting at 1 euro enrichment), but because all the proceeds were to go to Children’s Cancer Aid—crocheting and doing good at the same time, so to speak.

Now it’s practically over already—tomorrow the jury will sit down together and tackle a very, very difficult task: choosing the “best” Oilys.
Actually an impossible task—because each Oily is more wonderful than the next ....

Oh yes… the finalists have already been chosen—it was a very, very difficult task the jury had to tackle…

Wow, what a great project! Unfortunately, I found out about it too late since I’m new here, but I’d love to participate next time.
