Hello dear crochet friends,
do you like experimenting with different crochet stitches, or do you prefer using the “normal” stitches in different shapes?
I’m always happy when I can try out new patterns, and I also enjoy using them in my creations.
In this thread, I’d like to present some beautiful crocheted borders as edgings and show how they can be used.
I’d like to start with a romantic ruffle border:
Pattern for it: Work 1 single crochet, 3 chain stitches, and 1 double crochet into the first stitch, skip the next stitch, then work 1 single crochet, 3 chain stitches, and 1 double crochet into the next stitch again, skip the next stitch again. Repeat this until the end of the row or round.
If you’d like to make the ruffles in 2 colors, as I did in my photo, you can do the same again with another color. To do this, crochet 1 ruffle into each arch of the previous round.
Have fun crocheting it!!!
