What I'm working on right now

After a long search, I found a pattern for Austermann Kid Silk yarn. A jacket, but this pattern is so poorly described that I already have serious doubts about how the piece will turn out. The yarn is too expensive and too much work has already gone into it; unraveling it isn’t an option anymore. I’ve never had a pattern like this before.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having such a hard time with the pattern.
Is this a pattern you found here on crazypatterns? If so, you could try writing to the author of the pattern and asking for help.

You’re right — it would be a real shame if you couldn’t make any progress on the jacket with such beautiful yarn.

Otherwise, you could try posting the specific wording from the pattern that’s causing trouble here (but please don’t post the entire pattern, due to copyright) — maybe one of the other authors can help "decipher" it....
