Stitches Worked on a Good Day (Not an Advertising Thread)

Dear users, dear authors,
on a really great day when everything is going smoothly, how many stitches/rows, etc., do you manage to get done? What’s the maximum length of yarn you’ve ever used in a single day?

Who are the record holders?

Phew.... that’s a really tough question.
I’ve never actually measured it. I can’t express it in meters (for yarn usage) or in centimeters (for a knitted or crocheted piece).
Knitting or crocheting a shawl is also a bit different from making amigurumi, for example.
A shawl usually starts out small, so at first you get the impression that you’re making really, really fast progress, but as it grows, it starts to feel like chewing gum.
Depending on the size, by the end I might need as long as 10 minutes just to complete one row. ;-)
Of course, it also depends on the pattern. Simple patterns are worked up faster than intricate ones.

Unfortunately, due to illness, I’m not getting as much done right now as I’d like to.

Yeah, that’s actually a tough question to answer.
During the “now-I-really-have-to-crank-it-up” period in the last few days before the Christmas market, I can easily make 8 hats a day… which works out to a good 800–1,000 grams of yarn.
On more typical days, when I have both time and the inclination, I can easily crochet 400–500 g (even with a small hook size like 2.5).

Darn... I left something out...
On a really good day, I can get through 200–300 g, with a total length of 300–500 meters. At least that’s what happened recently with my jacket. I was all alone, with plenty of peace and patience. Now the jacket is sitting in the closet, waiting to be finished!

As far as that goes, I rarely have really great days—most are more or less average… meaning I crochet for 1–2 hours in the evening while watching TV…

How much I get through on those really good days depends on the yarn weight and what I’m making… with amigurumi, I get less done than with crocheted shawls/cowls, etc., and the pattern also plays a role here (always the same or different every row)—I think my “record” was 50g of sock yarn in one day…
