Forum game: Tricky brain workout

Dear users, dear authors,
another game. This one is a challenge, but I’m sure you can do it.

Here’s how it works:
One person gives a word, and the next user / author writes down a word that fits it.
Watch out: The matching word must have six letters. Not three, not four, not seven—only six letters.
And the word must begin with the last letter of the previous word.
This could get tricky. Great brain training. It keeps you young.

The first word:
shears: fitting for the craft forum
The second word:
single: You can only cut fabric a single time, so use the shears carefully

so we are looking for: a word starting with E that fits the topics mentioned above.
Your turn.

Ruler—I often need one for cutting

Laptop... that’s where I’ve saved my sewing patterns, and I always need them for sewing and cutting fabric correctly

Pompom - perfect for a nice pompom or for crafting animals, maybe also as a little tail for an amigurumi...

Coat—I’ve always really wanted to sew one for myself!

Linen—a beautiful fabric for a summer coat

Needles—that one’s pretty self-explanatory ;)

Number - think of thickness or size

Raglan—whether sewn, crocheted, or knitted

Sewing... I taught myself, and I even write my own patterns for it under the name “Frollein Nähfein” :)

Annoying—at least for me; I’m not very good at this.

Patience
I definitely need that when sewing!

Thinking — sometimes you do have to, whether you’re knitting, crocheting, or sewing. ;-)

Nerves—sometimes you have to keep your cool when nothing seems to be going right (whether you’re crocheting or doing something else)

Nougat. - as brain food

Cakes - even more brain food ;-)

Scars - from sewing your finger...

Noodles. - for healing the pain

Naples—I’m sure they eat pasta there a lot

love - you have to love crocheting....

Nodding - to affirm the love of crocheting.

Bobbles are pretty stitches in crochet and often create beautiful crochet patterns

Reading

is especially enjoyable from the comfort of an armchair

straightforward - apparently it isn't, following the game rules laid out in the opening post

lamps—they brightly light everything up so I can see my stitches clearly.

nervous. - you can sometimes get that way when knitting patterns or crocheting.

Later – it can get pretty late before you make it to bed when you’re trying to finish a project again

Marker—you have to place one while knitting so you can find the start of the pattern again.

Rounds - the pattern can also be knitted this way.

Teasing — something you sometimes have to put up with when something still doesn’t work out properly on the umpteenth attempt.

nothing — you don’t let it bother you and simply try again.
