Dear users, dear authors,
What are you really, really good at? It’s okay to brag every once in a while, especially when you’re really good at something.

I’m really, really good at eating cake, but I limit myself to once a week because of love handles, etc.

What are you really, really good at?

Sleeping. .....

I could sleep all day if I had the time.
I’ll admit that if the day allows it, I’ll sometimes take a little afternoon nap. Especially in winter, I’m always tired, tired, tired.... I hate winter!!!

Zigaretten und Fleisch fasten als vegetarischer Nichtraucher
:-D

I’m really good at anything that requires a lot of endurance. If I were in Cinderella’s shoes, I wouldn’t have gone to the ball—sorting lentils by size, quality, and shade would have been way more fun for me :-).

But I’m also really good at sleeping :-)

@Inna
Sleeping also takes endurance, doesn’t it?

@Dorigurumi, exactly, that's why it fits so well :-)

Eating chocolate. No one’s ever beaten me when it comes to quantity and speed.
But I’m only talking about my family and friends here—I’m sure there are a few chocolate lovers here too.
That said, I much prefer high-quality chocolate savored slowly, but I can still polish off huge amounts of that.

Though I have a worthy successor growing up...

Another thing I’m good at is finding things—or should I say, simply remembering where I saw them. My husband and son love to take advantage of this and are always asking where they left this or that.

Addendum from my husband:

I’m also insanely good at not hearing things (when I don’t want to hear something), but really bad at seeing well.

I’m super good at chattering my husband’s ear off when he’s trying to follow a movie on TV.
Plus, I’m an expert at the “I really wanted to buy that but forgot…” routine...

I’m really good at sleeping. When the alarm goes off, I’m suuuuper good at rolling over to the other side and snagging one more cozy bit of sleep. Luckily, my dog needs to go out in the morning. He lets me know quietly at first, but once he really starts barking, I’m awake in a split second and up and at it—smile—.
It’s fun to read what everyone here is writing.
We seem to be a lovely bunch.

Warm regards, Jana

I’m really good at not making it to bed at night and not getting back out in the morning.

Being the old night owl that I am, I rarely go to bed before midnight, fall asleep even more rarely before 2 a.m., and then sleep in accordingly.
It’s great that I can manage my time however I want.
But that also means I sometimes end up helping people with pattern questions in the middle of the night. ;-)

I’m good at getting up in the morning when I have to. Then I can’t just roll over and go back to sleep—I get up right away when the alarm goes off.

@Michaela, I’m just like you: a total night owl… I’m great at that, too!

But what I’m truly unbeatable at is creating chaos! I can spread my stuff and my projects all over every room in no time at all; it always feels like I have 20 projects going at once. When I’m sewing, everything that falls off—threads, fabric scraps, needles…—ends up on the floor. This goes on until I can’t stand it anymore, then I do an extreme clean-up—only to plunge everything back into chaos in no time.

So if there’s anyone out there who’s really, really good at keeping things organized and tidying up: I’d be grateful for any tips!!

@fil-art-aue,

I think my stamina when it comes to amigurumi crocheting is amazing—which is more than I can say for some other things. Anything I don’t like gets “put on the back burner” for now, unfortunately.
As the saying goes, “put off is not forgotten.” *grin*

I’m also really, really good at sleeping for a very long time. I can’t bring myself to get up in the morning, and in the evening I craft/crochet/surf the internet late into the night… I’m not a morning person, except on vacation—then I’m well-rested and up and about early.
I absolutely love baking fruit tarts and muffins—we just love eating them.
