Buying Yarn

Hi everyone,
can you order the yarn for the patterns here? And if not, where do I order it if I can’t get it in my city? How do you handle this?

The patterns usually include yarn recommendations and where to buy them. If not, you can ask the author for help. That’s part of the service here. Good luck.

I’m from the countryside, and there aren’t any yarn stores nearby. That’s why I order everything online. There are tons of retailer websites out there. Just Google it—preferably by the name of the yarn—and you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Hi Margit,
If I can’t find what I’m looking for at my favorite craft store, I try my luck on eBay or Amazon. Otherwise, I can also recommend www.meinfilati.de—I’ve bought yarn, needles, and other supplies there before. Shipping is always lightning-fast.

Thank you so much for your reply, sonja_mm. In the meantime, I ordered my yarn online from Wollplatz, received it right away, and have already finished knitting my hat. Since that worked out so wonderfully, I’ll keep doing it this way.
