This table runner makes a wonderful gift for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, a birthday, or just because—for someone who holds a special place in your heart! It measures 90 cm long and 42 cm wide. Fuego is Spanish and means fire. A wonderfully fitting name for the stitch pattern, which is reminiscent of little flames licking upward.

The shawl is crocheted from top to bottom. Since the pattern consists only of single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet, it is very well suited for beginners.

Materials needed:

• approx. 200 grams or approx. 750–800 meters of yarn (e.g. lace yarn, sock yarn, or a “Bobbel” made of plied yarn)
• crochet hook size 3–3.5
• scissors
• sewing needle

Finished measurements of the shawl: approx. 180 x 80 cm.

Brando is a little thicker and super warm! I’m wearing it all the time at the moment.
