World Cup Fever

So, are you all caught up in World Cup fever yet?
Not so much for me—soccer isn’t really my thing.
They said on the radio that those Panini stickers are a huge thing again right now, just in time for the World Cup and all that.
Is anyone here doing that—collecting World Cup stickers, sticking them in albums, trading them, and all that?
How many World Cup scarves have you knitted or crocheted?
Or has that completely fallen by the wayside because of the heat?
It would be way too warm for me to wear a fan scarf, but maybe the real soccer fans see it a little differently.

Haha. All this World Cup stuff just passes me by completely.... Maybe that’s a bit silly, since it might sell well - but I’m reluctant to design something I have absolutely no personal use for :-)

I’m glad you’re back :-). I hadn’t heard or read anything from you for a few days. Since I approve the patterns here, I’ve of course noticed that a lot of new football-related patterns have been added lately. Although there is only one spelling, there are still different search results here: Fussball, Fußball

I’m not a big football fan myself :-), but I think some of the patterns are exceptionally creative. For example, the football owl or the turtle fans :-).
 

I’d at least like to say thank you for mentioning my two World Cup products just now, Alexander. That makes me happy.

Football isn’t really my thing either....... I do have some ideas for patterns, but I just can’t really get motivated.

Petra, thank you so much! I’d have more ideas, but there’s just not enough time this year. Oh well, the European Championship is in two years—then there’ll be more to come ;-)

Congratulations to the German team, but now it’s back to calm for the next four years.

But in two years, it’ll be the European Championship again ;-)
