Help, I'm out of yarn!

Does anyone have any leftover yarn from the company Online Linie 144 Gala, color 77 (purple)? I don't have enough yarn for the yoke, and this yarn is no longer available.

how frustrating that you ran out of yarn and it’s no longer available.
Have you checked eBay yet? Often, leftover stock is sold there, or the occasional private seller wants to get rid of a little yarn. Sometimes you can get lucky and find exactly what you need.

Yes, I do. But I couldn’t find it. I’m also not very experienced online and I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to that sort of thing.

That’s too bad. But maybe someone else will read this and happen to have exactly that yarn left over.
Or would you be open to an alternative?

Not really.
As an alternative, I’ll rip out the front and back and add a few rows of a different color at the bottom. Still annoying, though.
