Oh, this thread wouldn’t be complete without my beautiful, colorful
African Flowers baby or children’s blanket . It is simply gorgeous. However, the beautiful result does require diligence and perseverance.
You can freely choose the colors and size of the blanket. So you can make small sizes for a stroller or car seat, somewhat larger ones for a crib or as a play blanket, or even very
large ones as a bedspread for the bed.
My pattern is written for a size of approx. 1.10 x 80 cm. But I
explain in the pattern how to make other sizes. You don’t have to
decide on the final size right away either; it grows
piece by piece, and you can decide at any time that it is now big
enough. The method is the same for every size, and the border fits
all sizes too.
The pattern includes
39 pages, in which every single step is explained in words and pictures. You crochet: chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half
double crochet, treble crochet, double treble crochet, triple treble crochet, and
slip stitches. Everything is explained and shown in detail. If you like, you can also
work from the additionally included crochet chart.
I hope you have lots of fun making it - Yours, Ina
