No, still not. ;-)
I’m stressed out about studying right now—tomorrow I have the written test for my driver’s license...
I’m not nervous at aaaall.... not at aaaall. ;-)))))
Bach flower essences :-) or like my son managed it:
just imagine you’re sitting at home in front of your computer answering the questions—I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!
@Josefa,
I’m somehow refusing to let myself get stressed out! Not during Advent!
The 23rd will be a bit stressful, since everything has to be prepared for the next day.
And after the Christmas break, it gets stressful—I’ve been doing my Christmas cleaning in January for years, when everyone’s out of the house again.
As for the gifts, here’s the deal:
whatever’s ready gets given as a present; the rest will be given for birthdays... This time, that includes the sweater for my husband—he’ll just get it in the summer for his birthday, since it tends to get pretty chilly in the evenings here, so that should be fine—hopefully :-)
I usually manage to get all the gifts done because I start working on them back in the summer :-)
@Michaela
You’ll definitely pull it off. I almost died during my theory exam (test anxiety combined with asthma), but I passed on the first try.
I hope you have a relaxing evening anyway.
@Josefa
Right now, I’m just stressed out at work. I have the day off tomorrow, and I think I’ll decorate the apartment a little for Christmas. I kind of forgot about that.
I’m not letting it stress me out, but I’m not really in the Christmas spirit at all either
I’m neither feeling the Christmas stress nor getting into the Christmas spirit… but for me, it’s more of a hormonal thing this year ;)
It’s not very Christmassy here (which really makes me feel guilty toward the kids…), only the branch hanging from the ceiling is decorated…
Otherwise, it’s also a bit chaotic here, unfortunately…I can’t do as much as I’d like (my belly’s in the way, and my legs are totally swollen from water retention…), my husband has way too much work again anyway (it’s always especially bad for lawyers at the end of the year because nothing can be allowed to miss a deadline), and my oldest is being extremely teenage (she’s 15, after all), which doesn’t exactly help with keeping things tidy…
Well, at least I’ve put away all the stuff that was lying around the living room because of the Christmas market over the last few days… now there’s just the yarn in my sofa nook, which I actually need…
Plus, we’re waiting for the former owner of our new house to finally clear out the rest of his stuff (well, technically he still has until mid-January to do it, but we were always told that as soon as the notary contract is signed, we can get in with the contractors… but that’s no use if he doesn’t finally get it done *sigh*)…and on top of all the end-of-pregnancy aches and pains, I just don’t feel like doing much of anything around here...
Oh well...traditionally, we don’t put up a tree until Christmas Eve (well, we buy it a few days before).
And then we’ll tidy everything up enough so that the living room and dining room look festive and beautiful...
Next year, the whole house will be decked out for Christmas ;)
