Are there any beginners here still—how’s it going for you guys right now?

Hi,
I'm just a little surprised because there haven't been any beginner questions discussed on the forum for quite a while now. I know full well that there are quite a few beginners here when it comes to crocheting. I think it's a real shame that you're all retreating to the garden, the living room, etc., with your patterns and crochet hooks. I think it would be great if we beginners could share our experiences more. Is anyone interested in that?

glad to see there’s still someone here. I’d just like to have some nice discussions with other beginners. I mean, I do start threads and stuff, but I don’t want to flood the forum or anything. It would be really nice to have discussions on beginner topics with a few people.

I’m not a beginner and I’d be happy to help, although sometimes I’m not sure myself.

have you found what you were looking for yet and found someone to do it for you?
If not, you could try starting another thread about it in the job board,
since not all professionals might be reading the beginner’s thread.

You can also contact professionals directly through their profiles if they’re available for commissions.
Not all of them are available for commissions, but you might find someone that way.
You’ll have to work out the cost directly with the professional, but keep in mind that you’ll need to pay for the materials and the professional’s time.
If you’d like to keep costs down, it might be a good idea to buy the pattern for the owl bag and practice a bit until you get the hang of it. Then you’ll only need to pay for the materials and not for their time.
In any case, I wish you the best of luck with it. You can also get tips and help here in the forum, and if you have questions about any of the patterns here in the shop, you can reach out to the respective professional via the comment section to get a little more help.
