RASANTE – these are mittens with a truly dynamic design, where the thumbs are integrated right into the diagonal stripe pattern. It took me a lot of tinkering, but now I can present you with a pattern that lets you knit the mitten in one piece and without seams! How? Well, of course I’ll only reveal that in the pattern ;-)

This pattern is not recommended for absolute beginners, but anyone with a bit of experience knitting socks should have no problems. The pattern works for all sizes and yarn weights!

A must-have this winter is the wonderful Caradhras knitted scarf and hat set.
Both are knitted flat, meaning in rows. The hat is closed with Kitchener stitch, so you won’t see any seam later.
Because it’s knitted in rows, the circumference of the hat can be adjusted completely individually; you don’t need any increases or calculations. ;-)

The scarf can easily be turned into a cowl with 4 buttons. The pattern is reversible, which means it looks the same on both sides.

The set works up beautifully in all cozy winter yarns, from sock-weight yarn to DK and bulky.

Depending on weight and yardage, you’ll need 200 to 300 grams of yarn for the scarf and approx. 100 grams of yarn for the hat.
You’ll also need a kitchen scale, two stitch markers, a cable needle, some contrasting yarn, and a crochet hook for the provisional cast-on (hat). If you like, you can sew a pom-pom onto the hat.

The super easy-to-understand pattern is 10 pages long and includes both charts (knitting charts) and a written-out version.
The difficulty level is easy to intermediate. Basic knowledge is required (knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, knitting stitches together, knitting stitches from the strand between stitches). The provisional cast-on needed for the hat is explained in the pattern.

You’re basically getting 2 patterns here for the price of one. ☺

Kids often don’t want to wear a hat in winter. With this helmet for little firefighters, that’s guaranteed not to happen!
The pattern is designed for a head circumference of about 54 cm, but can easily be adapted to other sizes. It’s also suitable for beginners. You’ll need about 60 g of neon yellow yarn, a scrap of yarn in silver or silver-gray, and a scrap of black fabric measuring about 30 cm x 50 cm.

A hat for her and a hat for him:

The ANOUK Hat is knitted with a gentle wave pattern. If you have basic knitting skills and can work from a knitting chart, you’ll manage it without any problems! It’s knitted with a double strand of a soft alpaca-silk blend and can be finished in no time over a weekend!

The Ansgar Hat is just the thing for real men!
It’s knitted in a textured rib pattern using just knit and purl stitches. It’s knitted with Arroyo by Malabrigo, but you can also use any 6-ply sock yarn!

This hat is something for knitting beginners/returners:

Whether for skiing or afterward, or as a stylish city hat..This hat is quick and very easy to knit – well suited for beginners, since there are no increases or decreases to knit
. A matching scarf in the same style completes the outfit for cool days.

The pattern is fully illustrated for all stitches used and described for the material used below for a head circumference of 50 cm to 60 cm. It also explains how to convert a gauge, so that it can also be knitted
with other yarn weights and in all sizes.

Material:
200 g merino yarn, Schulana Capo Nord used here, 100% merino, 100 g – 90 m yardage, needle size 7 – 9, knitting needle size 8.0 used here,
gauge according to the ball band 12 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
An alternative yarn in this weight would be, for example, MyBoshi No. 3.
You will also need: yarn needle for weaving in ends, measuring tape, scissors
Note: mohair yarns are not recommended for beginners, as they snag and can hardly be unraveled, so they are not forgiving of mistakes. Otherwise, you can use pretty much any yarn.

Until the 1st Sunday of Advent, my patterns for hats are 20% off.

I offer both crochet and knitting patterns. A helmet-style hat is included too, so the ears are always nicely protected.

Small amounts of yarn are enough for hats, often even less than 1 skein of wool, and these hats are a nice project to do “on the side.”

You’ll find yarn details and quantities with the individual models.

Especially now, you need to keep a cool head—or maybe not—and the best way to do that is with the knitting pattern for the cozy Varya winter hat.

This wonderful hat is knit flat, meaning in rows, and you don’t need a set of double-pointed needles for it. You also don’t have to calculate the stitches for the head circumference, since the hat is knitted from side to side and crocheted together at the end. Even so, no seam is visible.

The pattern is suitable for all sizes. ☺ The width of the hat is approx. 28 - 30 cm, depending on the yarn.

Required materials:

  • approx. 70 grams of yarn for needle size 6 - 7 mm or approx. 140 meters (e.g. MyBoshi Goat or similar yarn, please pay attention to the yardage)
  • knitting needles size 6 - 7 mm
  • 2 stitch markers
  • tape measure
  • scissors
  • sewing needle
  • some leftover yarn for the provisional cast-on
  • crochet hook
The pattern includes:

  • 9 pages
  • Written-out pattern
  • Charts
  • Photo tutorial for the horizontal ridge
  • Explanation of the provisional cast-on
Difficulty level: easy to intermediate

Get this wonderful pattern now and knit yourself a warm winter—also ideal as a “last-minute Christmas gift”!
And best of all: you can even save up to 30%!

A completely different kind of hat is waiting for you here!
An unusual "brim" gives this cabled hat the perfect finishing touch!

And... this "brim" can be knitted in many different colors
so the hat goes with any outfit!

A detailed STEP-by-STEP description as well as several charts in knitting chart form guide you through the knitting process.

The pattern is designed for a head circumference of about 50-54 cm.
However, it is simple to make it larger or smaller as needed.
