Hello, everyone!

December is not far off now, and with it comes the time for Advent calendars...
How about a crocheted one this year?

The pattern is fully illustrated and described in detail, so even beginners can make it quickly and easily.
You can also use up leftover yarn nicely, since each little bag only requires about 17g of yarn.

Only until 10/31: 30% off the pattern “Stripping Santa Claus”

Jingle bells, jingle all the way........ Did you know that Santa only does the Santa Claus job as a side gig? Actually, he is the original ancestor of the Chippendales, as you can see from the following pictures :) The pattern is easy to follow for beginners with a little practice, advanced crocheters, and pros. Complete beginners might run into problems in a few places. But I’m always happy to help with questions. What you need for Santa: Gründl Happy yarn: pink approx. 250 g, red approx. 250 g, white approx. 100 g, black 50–60 g, light gray approx. 5 g, brown approx. 2–3 g, beige approx. 10 g. Some craft wire and sturdy wire mesh for fingers, joints, and the parts you would like to stabilize or make movable. Some white fabric and a black permanent marker for the eyes and mouth (possibly googly eyes for the reindeer briefs). Glue. Crochet hook 4, yarn needle and scissors, and stuffing. For the pom-pom on the hat, a pom-pom maker would be good; alternatively, use two cardboard discs and google a YouTube video about it. Almost all parts are worked in continuous spiral rounds and later joined together bit by bit. Stitch explanation: MR = magic ring M = stitch FM = single crochet Lm = chain stitch hStb = half double crochet Stb = double crochet zusm. = together
verdp. = double stitch

Whether on the Christmas tree or as decorations in the entryway, garden, or on the patio, these ornaments are sure to catch the eye. Thanks to the cotton yarn with a length of 85 m/50 g, they turn out quite large and are easy to spot. Or perhaps you’d prefer something more subtle for the Christmas tree in your room? In that case, using yarn with a length of 120 m/50 g (e.g., Catania), these little bells can be crocheted quickly. You always crochet two bells together, which makes them very sturdy and ensures they won’t lose their shape even when wet.
And to be ready for the first Sunday of Advent, starting at the end of October is the perfect time.

As we all know, elves are mythical creatures said to possess special powers. What special powers might the Christmas elf Elena have? She certainly has plenty of charm, and quite a few people, young and old alike, will quickly lose their hearts to her.

Using the specified materials, Elena the Elf will be 28 cm tall. Personally, I recommend using cotton yarn for recreating all of my stuffed animals and dolls.
The pattern includes many step-by-step photos to make it easier to follow. However, basic crochet knowledge (single crochet, increases/decreases, spiral rounds, etc.) is required.
The following materials are needed:
  • 100 g of cotton yarn in soft apricot (skin tone)
  • 50 g of cotton yarn in red
  • 50 g of cotton yarn in light green

Santa Claus, an angel, and a snowman are actually egg cozies. But you can also use them without eggs as table decorations. They could also decorate a pretty little package or adorn the Christmas tree or Advent wreath. You only need basic crochet skills and a few bits of leftover yarn.
Or how about these Christmas finger puppets?  Here, too, all you need is basic skills and a few bits of leftover yarn, and soon you can act out a little story for your children about Santa Claus, Rudolf the reindeer, and Frosty the snowman. Here is the pattern:

My reindeer adorns a pretty Christmas gift bag and is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face.

This gift bag is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 22 x 27 x 13.5 cm. It’s very quick and easy to make and is also suitable for beginners. All templates for the reindeer’s face include positioning guides for the elements to be glued on, so everything can be assembled with millimeter precision.

Snowman, Santa Claus, and angel are quick to crochet. They make lovely decorations or a small addition to a gift certificate or cash gift.
You can also use them wonderfully to work up leftover yarn. The pattern is richly illustrated and is therefore also suitable for beginners.

Crochet Pattern Advent Calendar: 24 Christmas Patterns

Advent calendars have been making the wait until Christmas Eve sweeter for us since childhood. With this pattern Advent calendar, it will be a very special Advent season for every crochet fan. For each day, there is a small or even larger crochet pattern. All patterns can be completed in one evening. Some are finished quickly and will certainly be crocheted more than just once. Others take a little more time, but simply have to be made several times anyway. All patterns are related to the Christmas season. Shortly before Christmas Eve, a few patterns are added that already refer to the approaching New Year's Eve, and on Christmas Eve a large pattern is hidden as a special highlight.

Get the pattern calendar before November 15 with a 20% discount!

This is Bärtram. A lovable cuddly bear with a Christmas feel ;-)
Bärtram can be crocheted with any yarn. Whether acrylic or cotton... Bärtram always cuts a fine figure....
120 g yarn (50 g/150 m) for the body and 55 g for the hat and scarf. A crochet hook and a little stuffing....
Ambitious beginners will have just as much fun with it as the “constant crocheters” :-)

What would Christmas be without a lamb? And without Mama Sheep? Lemmy will be about 20–23 cm tall when crocheted with the specified yarn. I used Gründl Baby Uni (50g/150m), and one skein was enough. A little fluffy yarn for the hat brim and waistband (about 20g), and about 15g of leftover yarn are enough for the hands and feet. The hat and pants are also crocheted with 35g of Baby Uni. Both versions of the hat are included in the pattern: one with an opening for the ears and one closed. Chain stitches, single crochet, increases, and decreases. A size 3 crochet hook and a little time. Bear eyes (12mm here), or embroider them on, depending on your mood.....

Hello, Christmas fan,

Isn’t an Advent calendar a must-have for Christmas?
Then check this out: the fir-tree-shaped Advent calendar . It combines a fir tree—standing a proud 60 cm tall—with an Advent calendar. Inside are 24 little boxes that, when filled individually, bring a little joy every day.

You can really let your creativity run wild—there’s crocheting and crafting involved, and you can decorate and fill the fir tree however you like :) Advanced beginners will achieve the desired result with the illustrated pattern.

You’ll need about 7 balls of thick or thin cotton yarn, appropriate crochet hooks, photo cardstock, and kitchen rolls. You’ll find all the details in the product description, of course.

Curious? Then stop by :)

Best regards, Steffi

St. Nicholas Day is on December 6 every year :) But are you one of those people who, right up until the last minute, is still wondering what little gift you can give your loved ones to make them happy?

This year, you don’t have to! Grab your crochet hook and start crocheting this wintery mesh bag with a coin pouch . It’s quick to make, perfect for beginners, and a great gift idea for all ages—as well as for anyone who doesn’t want to use just any old shopping bag.

Perfect for St. Nicholas Day, you can slip a little money into the coin pouch or fill the bag with a few treats.

You’ll need about 130 grams of cotton yarn, 3.0 and 5.0 mm crochet hooks, and, if needed, two half-round rings (25 mm).

Now head over to the pattern.

Best regards, Steffi

For all you bear lovers out there, I’ve created this festive gift bag featuring cute little Christmas bears on both sides:

The bag is made of cardstock and measures approximately 19 x 18 x 10 cm. It’s very easy and quick to make, even for beginners—though the bears take a little longer because they’re made up of several parts. Thanks to the positioning guides, though, that’s no problem at all.

Here you'll find a whole Christmas collection consisting of 12 keychains, which also fit very well in a St. Nicholas boot or an Advent calendar. Of course, you can also attach them to gifts and gift bags for Christmas.

If you'd rather spend St. Nicholas Day or the Advent Sundays with your family at the breakfast table, the egg cozies will make breakfast even nicer and cozier. And after breakfast, you can even use them as hand puppets sometimes. Each figure is quick to make and suitable for beginners. I will be adding the egg cozies to meinem Shop starting at the end of October.

For materials, you'll need a 3.0 mm crochet hook and Schachenmayr Bravo yarn in the respective colors specified in the product. Depending on the figure, you may also need embroidery thread and a key ring.

You simply need a Santa boot!

A pretty wall decoration during the Christmas season and, on St. Nicholas Day, a special and individual packaging idea.
The Santa boot holds looooots of chocolate and is also happy to hide a bottle of sparkling wine.

The Santa boot is easy for beginners to crochet, too.

Quickly get the crochet pattern for the large Santa boot so that on December 6 you really have everything nicely wrapped.

For atmospheric lighting during the Christmas season, my crocheted tea light covers in red, green, and white are perfect. It’s an endless border, so it’s no problem if you have larger or smaller tea lights or jars to decorate.
I needed about 5 g of Catania (LL 125 g / 50 m) for one tea light. Using double crochet, single crochet, and chain stitches, these tea light covers are quick to crochet and will beautify any dining table during Advent.

This Advent calendar consists of simple hexagonal boxes and measures approximately 33.5 x 35.5 x 5.5 cm when finished. To ensure everything fits together properly in the end, precision is key; otherwise, no special skills or knowledge are required, so even a beginner can easily make this calendar.

The whole project takes a little time, since there are 24 boxes to cut out of photo cardstock, glue together, and decorate. So it’s best to download the pattern and templates right away
and get started on your craft project!
