Where are you guys from, anyway?

I'm just a little curious to see how it's spread out.
No one has to give their exact location—a rough general area is enough.
I'll start:
I'm from Bavaria. What about you?

I live in Jever, but I don’t like beer at all, :-(( just as a side note.

Wow, this thread is really buzzing—thanks for all your active participation. I mean, nobody has to say exactly where they’re from; a rough idea of the general area is plenty. But from what I can tell, we’re spread out all over Germany. It’s really nice to meet people here who you’d probably never run into in real life.

Right this very moment, I’m living right in the middle of the internet cable.
Joking aside, I live in Germany. I’d rather not get any more specific than that.

Oh, and Germany is so big, but if you ever come to Lake Constance, I’d love to meet up with someone.
I’m spending a week in Switzerland soon and will be meeting up with some people from a forum there—I’m really looking forward to it.

That’s the great thing about the internet—you can meet
people you probably wouldn’t get
to know in real life without the internet or a forum. It’s just a shame that people are sometimes
so far away—so spontaneously grabbing coffee just isn’t an
option—but we can still have a good time together.

I’ve lived here since 2007............. I’m originally from the beautiful Rhineland, specifically the Eifel region (Mayen-Koblenz district).

Yes, it worked out—seven people from both the local area and farther away actually came.
It was nice and fun. The meeting place was, of course, a wool market.

I’m from Upper Bavaria, in the east, and I emigrated to Spain, but of course I’m back home very often—that goes without saying.
