What would you like to see?

Sometimes, as a creative person, you can feel a little stuck. Your head is full of ideas, and so is your sketchbook—but you still don’t know what to work on first or in what order. Or whether you should even do it at all ^^

That’s why I’m asking: What kinds of patterns are you missing? What would you like to see? What are you missing? What would you like to see?

I’d like more time (about 48 more hours a day) to bring all my ideas to life and still have time left for my kids. Other than that, I don’t need anything. :)

Um, if I’m reading this correctly, the question was actually which patterns people would like to see. Häkelteufel, the time to actually make it is something everyone has to decide for themselves, right? ;)

Patterns I’d like to see. No amigurumis!!!! That’s for sure :D Festive gloves with “cut-off” fingers, crocheted with very fine yarn, that you could wear to events like baptisms or confirmations, for example. That’s something I’m still missing, and I have no idea how I could make something that delicate, but maybe others will come up

with something great. Wave, Nici

I’m working on some of those :-) But my yarn is still a little too thick (Catania)

@streifgetier

Beautiful summer hats that are a bit different from what’s already out there

As for your little animals, I’d say just pick one at random from your idea book—it’s guaranteed to be just as adorable as the ones you’ve already finished :-)

Johanna, I was thinking of fine crochet thread, like size 10 or 5. That’s actually more my thing than wool. I’m just getting started with wool. I’m a fine crocheter LOL

I used to be like that, too :-) Lace doilies as collars and things like that

It’s great that we’ve managed to get back to the main topic despite the commercial break :-)

Oh wait, for once this wasn’t an ad at all, but “just” an off-topic comment. If I sound a bit cynical right now, please forgive me, but that’s what happens when you spend an evening reading ads in various threads that, in my opinion, don’t really belong in a forum.

Hmm, Nici—I’m sorry about that—I’ll probably be posting some amigurumi patterns soon ^^

But I’m also working on shawls. We’ll see—maybe I’ll design one of my own soon, too :-)

I almost never have anything specific in mind. When I see beautiful things and get inspired, I just go ahead and make them :-)

There are so many patterns in the shop; I haven’t gone through them all yet.
So I don’t have any requests at the moment.

More cat amigurumis would be great, I think :)

Hello, dear forum members,

I think little angels / guardian angels are all the rage right now, so there’s definitely a demand for nice patterns like that ;-).

Best regards
Alexander

I have so many things I want to do, but I usually end up doing something else instead. Just whatever I’m into at the moment or whatever I need.
Best regards, Hilde

Hi,
I’m looking for a pattern for a crocheted vest in the hippie style. Preferably chunky, with or without sleeves. It should look nice with jeans or over a dress. I did find something on Brigitte.de, but since I’m not very experienced, I couldn’t really make much of the “old” pattern. :(

Well, I’d love some fun kitchen amigurumi. For example, an eggplant, an onion, a cucumber, or even fruits like an apple or a pear, or a coffee cup and a coffee pot—but all with funny eyes, noses, mouths, feet, and arms.

Best regards, Diana

Oh, and back to my kitchen amigurumi. I can already picture a smiling potato with big googly eyes, a thick nose, a chef’s hat on its head, a wooden spoon under its arm, and root-like feet in my mind’s eye. I’m just too lazy to design something like that myself, so I’m hoping someone will take pity on me.

Best regards, Diana

That sounds funny... I can’t quite picture “root feet” yet.... but if you can draw *grin*, I’d be happy to receive a picture at streifgetier@web.de :-)

A potato amigurumi would definitely make a great decoration for a spice rack or something like that

I have the drawing skills of a 5-year-old, so drawing is not going to work. What I mean is, if you leave a potato lying around too long, it gets long sprouts, and you could attach those to the feet. Something like 5 stitches into a ch ring, crochet a few rows and, if needed, fill them with pipe cleaner wire so you can still bend them a bit wildly. I'll try to draw something in the next few days and then email it to you.

Well, I just loooove your patterns!
Now I’ve set my mind on crocheting the perfect little animal for each kindergarten group for my little one’s kindergarten graduation next year. I already have the beetle; now I just need a mouse (maybe that “mouse-like creature” would work?) and a hedgehog. It’s not a must, but just in case you’re ever short on ideas ;-)
