Yes, it’s a holiday here in North Rhine-Westphalia; it’s pouring rain, so my thick, cozy sweater for next winter is almost finished—just need to knit half a sleeve and then sew it together. So all that rain over the last few days actually had its upside: no UFOs produced! 
And for after that, I’m still wavering between a few projects I’ve always wanted to tackle—I’ve got plenty of them saved here. Worst-case scenario, I’ll draw straws. 🤣
Tomorrow I’m meeting a friend at the garden center—we love taking risks! We each only need a little something, so let’s see what we end up bringing home; it could get exciting.

So far, the long weekend (we in Baden-Württemberg have a holiday) has been wonderful, though the weather has been a bit unpredictable. But with an umbrella in your bag, you’re safe from a few raindrops.

Yesterday I was at the “Rose Paradise”—the roses are in bloom at the Stadtgarten in Karlsruhe. It was magical
