Hardworking little helpers: Is it too hot for you to do some crafts?

Dear community,
what are you working on right now? How’s the garden coming along? Do you have time and feel like crafting?

Als Rentnerin habe ich zum Glück immer Zeit, und Lust sowieso. Da es hier noch gar nicht schwül ist und sogar ein wenig Wind mitspielt, finde ich auch gute 30 Grad sehr angenehm.
Heute geht es weiter mit dem Mystery Cal, und ich habe einen Vorhang genäht, der vors weit geöffnete Schlafzimmerfenster kommt, da ich ja nicht mehr in einem Wäldchen schlafe, sondern auf einer Großbaustelle, und die hat ansonsten einen freien Blick in mein Bett, hab ich nicht so gern. Und für den Sommer reicht mir ein nur gekipptes Fenster in der Nacht nicht aus.

I have a few shady spots to choose from in the garden—
but it’s still more tiring than it used to be:
I’m definitely starting to feel my age a bit ;) 

We have old, tall trees here that provide plenty of habitat for animals, creating their own microclimate—cool and pleasant. The many birds are chirping. It’s a wonderful atmosphere for crocheting. 🥰

Gestern und heute ist das Wetter ja wieder erträglicher geworden. 😊
Ich habe ein Shirt aus Baumwollgarn angenadelt. Das wird gestrickt. Die Wolle war zuvor als Netztunika verhäkelt. Das hat sich nicht so gut getragen...
Das neue Top soll gerade bei Sommertemperaturen getragen werden. Ich hoffe, ich kann es flott fertigstellen.
Heute ist auch Stricktreff in unserer hiesigen Bücherei und da werde ich bestimmt vorankommen.

I finished all my errands this morning, so starting at noon—after lunch—I’ll have time to do some crafts. Our balcony—we’re on the east side of our building (9th floor)😉—gets sun until noon; after that, it gets very pleasant, especially in the height of summer or during this current heat wave. Plus, it’s not as humid today as it has been the last few days, and right now it’s 24°, so my hands don’t sweat quite as much while I’m crafting.
