Dear Team,
what a great idea!

I’m currently putting the finishing touches on a pattern that I’ll be uploading in the next few days, and I’m just so proud of how the photos turned out.
I’m still waiting for the final feedback from a test crocheter—should I wait for that, upload the pattern, and then post the photo?

Thanks for your help—and the creative ideas!
All the best,
Kathrin

Hi Kathrin, my understanding is that CUSTOMERS upload the items they’ve made to the gallery and that this isn’t a campaign for designers. Or am I misunderstanding this, dear CP Team?

 Wrap-style knitted top
I knitted this sweater for a class reunion.
The pattern is by Cuddlykitten.
It was nicely varied to work on and I really enjoyed making it.
The yarn is cotton.

Circle jacket for a friend

Crocheted with my favorite yarn, Twister Solid.
The pattern was a crochet chart that I adapted for the jacket.
My friend only wears the jacket on special occasions—she absolutely loves it.

Sorry 🙇‍♀️.. 😅 I clicked the photo too quickly.. This is a photo of my granny crochet 🧶 jacket, worked with a double strand 🧵 and two slightly different gradient yarns..
It’s become one of my favorites… Grin 😁 I just started crocheting it based on a photo of another granny-style jacket… 😅 Then I just worked it “to fit my body”… Giggle 😊

I made this crochet dress using a pattern by Marion Mitterhofer-Zott called “Polarlicht.”
I started working on it on December 28, 2025.
I had so much fun with the varied pattern that I finished it in just over 4 weeks—on January 30, 2026.
I love the beautiful color gradient and am very proud of my work.
I hope you like it, too?

Subject / Title: The “Cord” Sweater—A Dream Made of 2,500 Meters of Color.
Technique: Crochet (design based on a pattern by PicSar Design).
Quick Facts: This sweater was crocheted using two perfectly coordinated yarn cakes. In total, over 2,500 meters of yarn went into this project. The special crochet technique creates a highly textured surface that looks almost like corduroy.

Short story: I’m incredibly proud because this is the very first sweater I’ve crocheted myself! From the first starting chain to weaving in the last end, it was a journey full of anticipation. It fits perfectly, is cozy and warm, and has taught me that it’s okay to take on big projects—I just love it!

Motif / Title: “Water Lily” – My creative interpretation of a tunic. Technique: Crochet (based on a video pattern by Karin Morik).
Quick Facts: Made from two color-coordinated yarn cakes with a total length of approximately 2,000 meters. The piece was originally designed as a tunic, but I decided to leave the front open so I could wear it as a breezy vest.

Short Story: After crocheting quite a few shawls, the “Water Lily” was my very first garment. It was an exciting process to adapt my usual technique to a new shape. The open-front design really brings out the dynamic quality of the wavy pattern—for me, it’s the perfect example of how you can add a very personal touch to patterns.

Meine Lieblingstunika

My favorite coat “Sylvi”
I knitted this coat in 2019 and still love wearing it.
It was a challenge, especially since the pattern was in English. I knitted the coat twice: once as a test piece using inexpensive acrylic yarn, and then the final version using sturdy sheep’s wool, which gives the coat its rustic look.
I also made the toggle closures myself. They’re not leather, but SnapPap. It still looks great and is my favorite piece for fall.

Anleitung December Tide Vest.

I also crocheted this winter 🌨️ hooded sweater in granny style; it has “slits” at the sides, so it fits perfectly over any “underlayer”... 🤓
The sweater is made from cozy acrylic yarn, black with shades of brown, beige, and yellow... It’s just the right “piece” for getting out into nature in the fall and winter… With a granny-style 🧣 I made myself out of black cozy yarn, I’ve even braved a few sudden snow 🏔️ storms… Lol 😂 😂

Mein absoluter Lieblingspullover

Lots of Shawls

In 2024, several of my favorite coworkers celebrated milestone birthdays. I really wanted to give them something personal, so I crocheted a shawl for each of them. Unfortunately, I don’t remember exactly which patterns I used, but I’m sure some of them were from here:

All made from four-ply cotton yarn cakes. It was a lot of fun, but I ended up with tennis elbow afterward.
Best regards, Ellen

Oh man, I got so carried away that I completely forgot the guidelines. So I’ll start with a second favorite piece:

  • Motif / Title: “Woven Wostra”
  • Technique: Crochet, interlocking
  • Quick details: 2 4-strand yarn cakes with a 4 mm hook
  • Short story (2–4 sentences): I’m totally hooked on the interlocking technique, and even as I’m crocheting one piece, the next one is already taking shape in my head. This time, even my husband wanted this pattern. His exact words: “Finally, a pattern I can actually recognize.” What I find most brilliant about this technique is that it uses nothing but double crochets and chain stitches.

I made this top based on a promotional photo for a yarn in a Chinese magazine. I chose a Turkish cotton-acrylic yarn for it. I saw this picture and fell in love with this piece. I crocheted it in two colors using yarn I still had on hand.

One of my favorite sweaters.
Knitted from 2 different color-change yarns with solid-color accents. I love these pointed edges at the hem and sleeves.
The yarn is acrylic from Schachenmayr.

Title: Top on a Ring—a very simple crochet pattern

Brand new: my go-to for summer. A top that’s crocheted entirely around a ring (metal or wood). It’s super easy and quick to make. And it has a bell-shaped silhouette, so it’s one of my “tummy-concealing” pieces. The last photo shows a keychain. I used its stainless steel ring as the ring for the top. By the way, the top looks exactly the same from the back, with the ring and everything.

My favorite knitted dress
Pattern from an old issue of Sabrina.
I left out the sleeves, though, so it’s more summery.
The yarn is Sultan de luxe SHINE
The pattern was quick to knit, and people keep asking me about it.
It’s very comfortable to wear.

I love wearing this crocheted jacket, made from a pattern by SanukDesign, in the summer when it’s too cool for short sleeves but too warm for a sweater.

I love the pattern, the length, and the fact that it can be worn with pants and dresses.
A super cute all-rounder.

Hello everyone👋🏼
I crocheted this dress last year and still love it.
It was made with size 2.5 crochet hooks and Alize Diva yarn.
There’s no pattern for it—I put it together myself using various patterns.

Crocheted “Schulterblick” Top

I fell in love right away with the unusual and beautiful pattern for the “Schulterblick” sweater. While I was crocheting, the sunshine was so beautiful ☀️ that I decided to turn the sweater into a top. The crocheted and sewn-on leaf tendrils are another eye-catcher—though I might have gone a little overboard with the number of leaves 😎
To match, the bright, summery colors of the gradient cake yarn range from orange to pink to turquoise

Hypno - mein Farbfeuerwerk

The Terenzas pullover by Sabines Wooly World is one of the most beautiful sweaters to me. The cable pattern is a dream. The pattern is superbly written and easy to follow.
I wore it to the Christmas party and got lots of admiring glances 😍.
Modal yarn, needle size 5.
The dog is just for decoration 😁

Motif / Title: "Things Don’t Always Go Smoothly" Sweater & Skirt
Technique: Sewing
Quick Facts: Cotton jacquard and wide corduroy; the pattern is based on a store-bought sweater.
Short story (2–4 sentences): I fell in love with this wonderful, cozy jacquard fabric right away—and I sewed myself a cozy dress out of it. But it ended up looking more like a nightgown, and I didn’t like it at all; it just hung around here, unworn and unloved.

It took quite a while before I came up with the idea to get some coordinating fabric and turn the dress into a sweater and a skirt—now I love the sweater very much, and the skirt has found a new home with an enthusiastic friend.

My absolute favorite jacket

I saw the muffin motif somewhere once and fell in love with it right away. Now it’s proudly displayed on the back of my crocheted jacket..... It’s made entirely of squares crocheted together using the same colored yarn as the muffin.
