The third—and hopefully last—Urmel is almost finished, as is a test project I got to crochet. So by tomorrow at the latest, I’ll be able to start something new; I still have plenty of options to choose from and enough yarn at home.

I’ve ended up making pom-pom animals again—I’m working on two little penguins right now, following a pattern on YouTube. But it’ll definitely take a little while yet :-).

I’ve started a narrow scarf. I haven’t gotten very far yet, since I need the knitting chart on my computer to get started.

And I’m still working on dishcloths. They fit nicely in my backpack for the train ride—they have a simple pattern, and they’re helping me use up my cotton stash.

I’ve started a sleeveless vest for myself using the yarn I bought at the yarn fair in Hirschaid.

Yesterday I cast on Tanja Steinbach’s Mae vest using some gorgeous fuzzy yarn.🥰

In the meantime, I still need to finish a size 45 sock.🥳

Project in the works? — Yes, still the pom-pom penguins. But I’ve finished one project now: there’s a beekeeper here in town where we always buy honey—both liquid and creamy. And we often bring him a little gift when we go. I’ve already crocheted a big bee for him once, and he was really happy about it.

Next time, he’ll get this “bee house.”
