New: Our Community Page is here – Everything in one place!

Hello everyone,

No more searching in dozens of different places—instead, seeing at a glance what is currently happening in the Crazypatterns community: That was our goal! We are excited to introduce our new Community Page to you today, which now brings everything together in one central place.

Important to know: The current Community Page is a first version. It already works wonderfully, but it is not completely finished yet. We are continuously working in the background to make it clearer, more attractive, and more helpful.

Feel free to stop by, try out the new features, and let us know here in the thread, via email, or via PM: What do you already like? What are you still missing? And what would you wish for the future of the Community Page?

First of all, thank you so much for all the work the entire CP team has put into the new community page. I’m really excited and will be testing it extensively over the next few days—and reporting back here.

I just couldn’t resist and went ahead and tried out the community page right away. I really, really like it. It’s very user-friendly and well-organized.

I especially like

• that the selection buttons are at the top. This makes for a better reading flow than a side-by-side layout. You don’t have to scan the entire screen—you just read from top to bottom, just like in real life.
  
• With just one click, you can view the information, images, and comments on your favorite topic. 
  
• It’s really fun just scrolling through the ideas! No annoying back-and-forth clicking. The photo gallery—which many people had trouble finding before—is now just a click away.
  

I bookmarked the site on my PC right away.

Hi everyone!

It’s a nice idea in principle. But visually, I’m not too fond of it. We have a huge screen at our disposal, and only 1/3 of it is being used in the center. Is it possible to expand the page to fill the entire screen? It looks a bit lost right now. There’s still so much space in the areas marked in red.
