Knitting for Beginners

Dear community,
what tips do you have for beginner knitters?

- I’d recommend small knitting projects for beginners.
That way, you’ll see results faster and stay motivated to make more items.
- I’d also suggest a project using medium-sized needles.
Needles that are too thin and yarn that’s too fine can be tricky, while needles that are too thick and yarn that’s too bulky can be hard to handle.
- When choosing a pattern, I’d suggest knitted pieces with only knit stitches for beginner projects.
- For projects, I’d recommend dishcloths, washcloths, coasters, narrow scarves, headbands, etc.
As mentioned, small projects for quick successes. 
 

For beginners, there’s “beginner’s yarn,” which is easy to work with and comes in the right needle size.

In addition to the small projects mentioned, a simple soul warmer made entirely of knit and purl stitches—without any increases or decreases—is also a great option.
 

My first knitting project was actually a pair of socks with a heel cap. However, we were a group of beginners and had a great teacher, so everyone managed to finish their first pair of socks. After that, I finally ventured into bigger projects...

Hey, I think that’s great. With a personal instructor, it’s a wonderful project that you’ll really get something out of.
Of course, when you always have someone by your side to ask, you can also try your hand at more difficult projects.
People have very different perceptions of the challenge of knitting socks.
Just the question of how many needles to use, for example, is a big one.
