Sock Awards - function test requested

Hello,

I was just trying to upload a few new socks for the world record attempt, but despite several tries I just can’t get it to work.

I entered #Sockenweltkrekord and a short description in the designated text field. I also selected a jpeg image (3:4 ratio) from my hard drive and wanted to upload the file. The image is shown in the preview as well. But when I click the “Send photo” button, nothing happens. I’ve already replaced the image and made it smaller, too. But still nothing happens.

I can only work on the screen; publishing doesn’t work.

Could someone please check whether it works for them? Either I’m the only one with the problem, or everyone is.

Hi Ina,

a small bug has indeed crept into our system.

The current issue is that after a successful upload, the system simply forgot to display the confirmation (the success message) to you. This wrongly gives the impression that the button isn’t working.

Our developers have already been notified and will fix this missing feedback as soon as possible.

I’d probably already gotten used to the “success message” after posting in the forum, so I really missed having a confirmation after uploading the photo. With the success message, it’s clear now. I’m glad you checked it again.
