Dear community,
I wish you a relaxing weekend with plenty of time for crafting. How is your yarn life and real life going? The time changes overnight from Saturday to Sunday. How do you feel about it?

Thank you, Josefa—I wish the same for you and everyone else here.
Since I’m retired and can go to bed and get up whenever I like, I don’t mind the time change, but I do feel bad for working people and students. And it’s all for nothing, because it really doesn’t serve any real purpose.
My knitting life is a bit quieter right now because I have a lot of appointments; my thick, cozy sweater is still sitting there waiting to be finished, and I’m still tinkering with a nice-looking Urmel—my second attempt after a lot of calculations is underway. And in between, I’d like to quickly crochet an Easter chick—it’s about time.
Real life, well, it’s going along. I spent a few days in Bremen and Worpswede—it was really nice, with plenty to see.
My skin cancer is quite active right now, which isn’t so great, so I’m quickly taking a few days off before my next major surgery, since I probably won’t be able to get around quite as well afterward. On the bright side, that will likely leave me with plenty of time for my knitting life, which is nice in its own way.

Thank you so much, Josefa. Wishing everyone else a relaxing crafting weekend too, and to you, dear Veronika, get well soon.

I’m still struggling with my cough. I’ve also developed a minor sinus infection, and it still hurts (in my cheek and around my teeth). I just can’t seem to get back on my feet.
Luckily, I’m still on vacation and have next week off—I’m grateful for that—so I can take the time to recover.
It’s not that easy to do nothing; my hands are itching to crochet, do spring cleaning, tidy up… it will just have to wait.

The time change doesn’t bother me either—I’m at home. They could have gotten rid of that nonsense a long time ago.

Warm regards from me

With my projects, it’s always important that I still have daylight to photograph the finished piece... so I really appreciate that extra hour of daylight! ... that way I don’t have to rush quite as much to manage it every day ;)
Have a wonderful weekend, EVERYONE

I’d also like to wish everyone a wonderful weekend. As we say here, the time change is as unnecessary as a goiter—I’ve hated it like the plague from the very beginning.

Love, Inge

Wishing everyone

a lovely, relaxing Sunday from me. The time change works in my favor, since I wake up early in the morning and get tired early in the evening. We have coffee starting at 6 a.m., and today I woke up at 6:30 a.m.—hurray! Now my rhythm is back on track until fall.
