More gardening than crafts right now?

Do you still have time for crafting right now, or are you spending as much time as possible in the garden?

That’s right—for me, it’s all about balcony work. I gave everything a fresh coat of paint, refurbished a plant shelf, repotted a few things, and I’ve already put up the first decorations outside.

Since I don’t have a garden or a balcony, crafts are still my top priority.

BOTH are possible....it finally rained, even overnight
which was sorely needed
I like dividing perennials, taking lots of cuttings from roses and elderberry to propagate them
and getting the vegetable garden ready...the cat watches me while I do it....and always comes along

then back to crocheting, and the cat sits next to me purring.....wonderful

Yes, …I even pressure-washed the patio yesterday
it was about time… winter leaves its dark marks on the white tiles

I always think of all this gardening as exercise—NEVER as a chore…
quite the opposite:
it also does me a world of good to get moving again after the long (lovely) season of lounging on the sofa and by the tiled stove.

Yes, I plant them all out when it gets warmer. Unfortunately, the color usually changes.

We don’t live somewhere as cold as you do in the Bavarian Forest, but we definitely get -10 degrees now and then too. Maybe plant them near the house, in a sheltered corner.

They self-seed too and multiply.
