Knitting knit stitches: what can they be used for?

Dear community,
if, as a beginner, you can only knit knit stitches, which projects can you still make to get a quick sense of success?

There are a few options:

• Scarf
  
• Stole
  
• Table runner
  
• Tablecloth
  
• Sofa throw
  
• Triangular shawl
  
• Sleeveless sweater—two rectangles sewn together accordingly
  
• Dishcloth
  
• Washcloth
  
• Cowl
  
• Arm/leg warmers
  

That's what comes to mind right now.

You can actually knit two different patterns with it: if you knit in rows, you get garter stitch. I like to use this pattern for the patchwork technique because it’s very stretchy.
If you knit in the round, you get stockinette stitch. With that, you could knit a beanie with a rolled brim, for example.
 

Hi,
if you knit in the round, you can make a nice neck warmer that can be worn both ways—stockinette stitch on one side and garter stitch on the other. Using a gradient yarn creates a beautiful effect.
