Spring means gardening

After cutting off 1,352 hydrangea blooms when the first warm rays of sunshine appeared, today I tackled the lawn edging along the patio.
What’s on your to-do list?

Since I only have a small balcony, there’s not too much work to do. But sitting in the sun is a lot of fun!

Yes, Veronika, that’s true. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a little corner of a garden.
But, as you said, the sun makes such a huge difference. It was cold and gray here for a long time. No matter what you do, the main thing is to enjoy the sunshine in this totally crazy world.

So creative, dear Petra👏 I especially love your crocheted walker project 🥰 and it made me smile. I could have done without the sore muscles after all that gardening, though😂 Today I’m planting all the colorful pansies and primroses that hopped into my shopping cart🤗

Those colorful little flowers must look great....I also find the pots very tempting whenever I’m out shopping...but I’ve decided to stick to buying only perennials from now on....if the weather stays like this...I’m expecting the first blooms in a week....best regards.

The rollator is a hit. I’m sitting here looking at my husband’s rollator.
Maybe I should show him this photo sometime? 😂 😂 😂

Definitely an exciting experiment....maybe in classic men’s colors? Or wrapped in old ties?

Oh, Petra, your place looks so inviting—especially your crochet corner; I could really get into that.
The crochet-covered walker is, of course, the highlight. I work in nursing. I think if I started covering walkers with crochet, they’d think I was crazy. No, joking aside—it wouldn’t even be hygienically feasible. But it’s definitely an eye-catcher.
If the weather stays like this, I might be able to move my crafts out onto the balcony soon. Right now I still have to be careful because of my cold—I’m still a bit under the weather. I’ve been dealing with it for three weeks now.
