Dear community,
Which technique do you like best right now?

At the moment, I like embroidering best. I can do it anywhere, even when I’m on the go.

Draw a motif on the fabric and then stitch over it in color.

Closely followed by upcycling - sewing with old tablecloths

Crocheting is still my favorite, but right now I’m also knitting a sweater at the same time.

Hello dear community,
I always need several projects. Also so I can take a break from one of them now and then. Because I like to pick things that require a lot of attention.
1st project
I dared to try tapestry quite a long time ago. I took the basic course by -PANIC- for that.
It’s really good and recommended, and it was important for me in order to start this project:
-PANIC-
Tapestry Mochila Bag Zaragossa

You really need a lot of patience, especially when changing colors. After making a few smaller baskets beforehand (her pattern for a little basket is even available for free), I’ve now already made quite a bit of progress with my bag. 😅

My 2nd project
Karlos No. 6 by Little Cherry
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/105761/karlos-nr-6

This patchwork technique looks complicated, but I find it quite easy and it’s explained really well in the pattern. You really don’t have to sew in any ends, but you keep casting on new stitches and decreasing until you have the little square. I like it colorful, but Little Cherry also offers other great models. The work is fun, but now and then I need something new to take a break.
An amigurumi in between:
I don’t know which of them I like best. I like it when a little “creature” suddenly appears 😇 I like it when they look funny. There are endless patterns here and on the web. Once you’ve got the technique down, your imagination is enough.
Finished today 😍

My 3rd project
For something I can just knit away on, I have a sweater in progress. Thin, very soft wool with size 7 needles as a raglan. Just like that.
A free pattern for calculating the raglan is really great, by
Häkelhörnsche, who also knits 😍 https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/105749/raglan-pullover-berechnen-und-maschen-einteilen

The pattern helped me a lot with the calculation😍 I think it’s great when something gets finished fairly quickly for a change. 😊 Needle size 7 😆So I can get my patience back for the difficult things.
I’m looking forward to seeing what you’re all making!
Best wishes from Hamburg ☃️❄️

Hey there, I’m back again… I took a long break from knitting—the stitches just wouldn’t cooperate, and my motivation was completely shot. Now I’m knitting “my masterpiece”—it’s going to be a three-quarter-length coat in double knitting 😊. I’m knitting from the bottom up, which has the advantage that I have the entire piece on the needle—front, back, and front again. It’s actually knitting up pretty well now, after some initial disasters. I had to rip it out three times because the knitting chart and the written instructions didn’t match. With 217 stitch pairs, that’s a lot to count and figure out, especially since the lower pattern wasn’t right either—but everything’s fine now; I managed to get it sorted out ☺️

Steffi, it’s great to hear from you—so glad you’re back!

Since you’re always working on special projects, I’m looking forward to seeing pictures of your coat.

Hey Petra....
Thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah, things have been pretty chaotic here, but now I finally have some peace and quiet to sit down for a bit and knit—and, most importantly, to check in here again.
I’ll post pictures as soon as there’s “something to see”; I haven’t worked that many rows yet, but the next 18 rows should go by quickly since I don’t have to count much.

Hi everyone, I love crocheting amigurumi the most, and I’m also knitting a scarf for myself on the side.
Lately, I’ve been crocheting sheep. I always have a pair of socks on my needles as well. That’s my go-to project for unwinding or taking with me on the go.

I enjoy crocheting and knitting equally. I just finished these crochet projects—following a crochet pattern from
