I don’t have much to show yet, but I’ve started a new upcycling project.

It’s supposed to be a cover for my stove—or maybe a wall hanging? A placemat?

I’ve embroidered an old pillowcase

And now I’m experimenting a bit with old table linens and bedding

So far, I haven’t really decided which fabric to use

We have three armchairs from the ’60s that we got for a very good price.
They’re pretty damaged in places—it looks like someone else tried to repair them before but gave up halfway through.
We’ve now completely taken them apart and are hoping to put together two more complete armchairs from the individual parts—now we’re waiting for better weather to sand down the pieces.
Whether we’ll be able to pull this off is still anyone’s guess...

As soon as the weather permits (my workshop is in the garden),
I’m going to build a painter’s easel out of a few old boards.

As for me, I did an upcycling project with a tablecloth.

I added a heart to it

Right now, I’m embroidering a winter scene for a gift bag—again, using old fabrics. But it still needs a little something. And I’ve got some new “old” tablecloths ready for bunnies—I’m still thinking about what to do with those, too.

Here’s a new coat for my dog made from a discarded shower curtain:

Often, it’s just the bottom part of the shower curtain that’s no longer in good shape, while the top part provides plenty of coated, water-repellent fabric.
