Dear Community,
leopard prints are back in style. When paired subtly, they can definitely be wearable.
Is this something for you?

Yeah, if it’s just a little bit, I like it, but I wouldn’t actually step outside in a full leopard-print look. I just bought a sweater recently that has a few leopard spots on it—I don’t think it’s bad at all.

No, not really for me. That’s not my style at all.

I’m not really the leopard-print type either—I prefer paisley patterns. But to each their own. The fashion industry just always wants to sell something new that’s currently in style. I don’t have to go along with it.

The classic leopard print isn’t really my thing either, but it feels like it’s always in style.
I actually did sew myself a dress with a leopard-print teddy fleece insert once… and I really love wearing it.
I’ve also seen fabrics in neon leopard print—I could definitely see that making a fun bag.

It’s sooooo not my thing—totally awful.
When I see leopard print, I always think of women in the adult entertainment industry, because they’re always wearing it in movies.

I read a funny quote recently:
“In a parallel universe, leopards wear leggings with a cellulite pattern.” 🙃

They’re not my thing—never have been, and never will be.

You certainly have to be the type for leopard prints, just as polka dots or floral patterns, for example, don’t suit every woman.
Then there’s the styling. A classic, business-appropriate pantsuit with a leopard-print silk blouse, simple but high-quality leather accessories, and understated gold jewelry is likely to look more elegant than a dress with an opulent floral pattern. In this case, the leopard print would be the fashionable touch, which the classic pieces more or less “tone down” so that it doesn’t look vulgar.
In any case, I’d have no problem walking through town dressed like that, and no one would mistake me for someone in the sex trade.
