Here by Lake Constance, it’s only rained a little. Not a trace of snow.

Cologne can’t really compete with that yet. It drizzles every now and then, but you can’t really call that snow.

We had freezing rain last night. As a result, the roads and paths were as slippery as glass. If you didn’t have to go out, you could enjoy the bizarre icicles.
Look at my fountain grass. First, the icy wind blew it into the right position, then the freezing rain came, and then everything froze as if in slow motion.

WOW, Ina, that looks amazing!!!
That’s what we’ll have here tomorrow, because rain is forecast and then freezing temperatures. It’s supposed to snow again on Wednesday; let’s see how it turns out.

That’s true, dear Inge. I also think they’re real works of ice art. No human could possibly decorate every single blade of grass like that. Only Mother Nature, working together with Father Frost, can create something so unique :-)
