Accessibility in Patterns: Especially for Users with Disabilities / What Do You Need?

Dear Community,
what do you need / what would you like to see in patterns so that you can read and follow them easily, even with physical disabilities?

I’m bringing this topic back up again. Maybe someone would like to comment on it. 

I imagine it’s generally quite difficult to address this in patterns. After all, everyone knows best what’s possible for them. Text can be resized to the desired size on any device, and sometimes thick needles work better and sometimes thin ones—so as someone with a disability, I’d choose the pattern based on that, I think.
