Spruced-up jacket

I sewed this jacket for myself a few years ago; it’s very comfortable and I love wearing it, but unfortunately the sleeves got a little too short from washing and such. So I knitted some wrist warmers and sewed them to the inside of the sleeves—that made the sleeves longer again, and now I don’t need extra wrist warmers when I wear it. :-)) A little crocheted flower on the collar adds a bit of a playful touch :-)

Another thing saved! The sewn-on cuffs look as if they were meant to be like that from the start. There are many designers of winter jackets who do exactly the same so that no cold drafts get into the sleeves.
