Are all your DIY gifts finished? Have fun finishing them up, if needed.

Yes, Josefa, I’m all set. Bring on Christmas! I got my sewing machine needles working overtime again for my youngest granddaughter. It’s all made from that beloved glittery elf fabric.



And I also sewed myself a flowy little Christmas dress. What makes it special is that it has a nice, loose fit (very important for hearty Christmas dinners and playing with the grandkids) and that it has wide sleeves. They sway so beautifully when I wear it. It’s a mini dress that fits my (former) height of 1.64 m. Yes, I know—it’s an eye-catching pattern, but I like it. A bit of a ’70s vibe.

 

To everyone who’s already finished their Christmas preparations, I wish you a relaxing evening. And to everyone else, I’m sending a burst of fresh energy for those last-minute tasks.
