2025 Annual Blankets / 2025 Temperature Blankets

Dear Community,
how are things going with your annual blankets and temperature blankets? Have you kept at it?

I made a temperature blanket in 2023, and used the leftover yarn to make a temperature snake in 2024. This year I’m making something different—a mood snail. It won’t be fully crocheted until the end of the year. You have a color scale that matches colors to specific moods and feelings; you record your moods and feelings for each day, and in the end, it becomes a colorful, striped snail shell—where certain colors will surely appear more often than others, depending on how the year went for you.

Dear Veronika, this is the first time I’ve heard of an “emotion snail.”

It would be great if you could tell us more about it once you’ve finished your snail. I know a project like this is very personal, but I’d definitely love to see a picture of the snail—and if you’d like, a few more details as well.
