Patchwork Knitting

Dear Community,
have you ever tried patchwork knitting?

Patchwork is, after all, a large project made up of many small pieces. It’s a great way to use up your leftover yarn, and the end result is always colorful, at the very least.

Here, I’ve knitted a baby blanket using a soft gradient yarn. The color gradients make it easy to see where each section was knitted on.

   

And here’s a larger blanket where I used leftover yarns of different weights in seed stitch. You can find the pattern for it on my blog.

I knitted a pair of patchwork wrist warmers for my niece. 
 

This was a Christmas gift for one of my grandsons; he had asked me for a blanket like this back then
