Christmas Yarn

Dear community,
Would you like to receive Christmas yarn as a gift from the Christ Child this year, or would you rather buy it yourself?

I didn’t ask for anything, but my niece is already planning some wool-related surprises.
I’ve bought the LaCritza Advent calendar for the fourth time now, and I’m really excited—there are always great things inside.

Giving wool as a gift is way too specific. If you’re into knitting, you already have your own likes and dislikes. So if you’d like to receive wool as a gift, I’d play it safe and write down what you want on a wish list beforehand. Otherwise, you might end up with yarn you don’t like—yarn that’s itchy, or the wrong color or weight. And since good yarn isn’t exactly cheap, it’s better to clarify that beforehand.

I’d rather treat myself to some yarn. The same goes for fabric.
