Hardworking little helpers: How’s your yarn life going?

Dear Community,
Are you doing well in your yarn life? Making good progress? 

Good morning, I can’t complain. I’m still a bit slow, but I’m working on it. Things can only get better, but I’m really happy with how it’s going! 

No knitting going on right now. For some reason, my knitting needles and I just aren’t clicking.

But I did do some embroidery this week



 

Oh, my wool life is going great :-)) I’m in the middle of knitting sweaters for my little dolls out of sock yarn.

I’m currently crocheting little angels to give as gifts. They look so cute. I’m really excited about it.

Wolle-Leben took a week off, but we’re back in action tomorrow.

My eternal problem: too many yarn projects, not enough time… Christmas gift production is going pretty well, but once again, I won’t be able to bring all my ideas to life (see above), especially when the unraveling monster strikes again…

Is your “Wolle-Leben” all about Christmas preparations, or are you mostly working on everyday projects?

I'm working on a gift for my friend's grandchild. A cowl, and I can knit up some well-aged yarn. 



And on the side, I've already gathered up some old jeans. I want to sew a reading pillow for our grandson. 

Before that, the second Christmas stollen came out of the oven—so I think the Christmas preparations are going well at the moment. 




 

I just finished a Christmas gift.

I actually wanted to give the blanket as a birthday present in early November, but it wasn’t quite finished yet.
So now it’s a Christmas gift.
It turned out to be a whopping 1.55 x 1.90.





I really like how it turned out.
Now it’s wrapped up and waiting to be given.

Wow, Claudia, the blanket turned out absolutely beautiful. 

Right now I have a scarf for my granddaughter on my needles.
She placed an order with me a few days ago. 😂
That means a few other knitting projects have to take a back seat.
After all, winter is just around the corner.

She requested this color, and the yarn has a sparkly thread running through it. I hope she likes it.

How’s wool life going?

Right now, real life is taking over. But I did manage to crochet the next stage of the Mystery CAL in the Advent calendar after all.

I don’t usually take on commissioned work, but my friend from kindergarten asked if I’d knit a shawl for her




So right now, I’m knitting every spare minute I have
