My last project was a raglan cardigan knitted from the top down, with a large pearl stitch pattern using size 5 needles. I’d finished it, and it looked good, too. Then I tried it on—the result: the cardigan was too wide. So I unraveled it down to just below the sleeves, decreased a few stitches, and started over. When it was finished again, I tried it on—it fit, though it was still a bit “oversized” at the shoulders. It would have worked, though, since you’d still wear a sweater or something similar under the cardigan. Yesterday I unraveled it completely because I just didn’t like it anymore and I definitely wouldn’t have worn it. The end result now: 600 g of yarn in the closet and no idea what to do with it.
