Do you have a lot of UFOs?

Dear community,
Do you currently have a lot of unfinished objects / craft projects? Do you want to frog them or actually finish them?

Have you actually finished all your UFOs? ;-)

No, unfortunately not.
That would be great, but unfortunately I have about

22 crochet UFOs
and
8 sewing UFOs.

I’d actually like to finish them all. 
 

I don’t really have any UFOs in that sense, but right now I have two projects in progress and a few more in the pipeline—meaning I already have the patterns and materials, but haven’t started them yet.

I can’t even count my UFOs—especially since I wouldn’t be able to find them quickly anyway, given how well I’ve hidden them.

But I haven’t started any new ones in the past few months. I’ve been working regularly on everything I’ve started recently and have already finished a lot of it.

But I was able to finish one UFO this week. I finally varnished my stones.

I painted a lot of stones back in September 2023; this week I finally varnished them to make them weatherproof and scattered them throughout the garden in the flower beds and along the paths.

Next up is my rocking chair. I started painting that too, but never finished it. So now I’m continuing my battle against the UFOs. 

I always have at least four projects going at the same time. Usually, one of them ends up as a UFO because I don’t really like it. What’s the best way for you to keep track of them? Or are you still looking for an idea?

I definitely don’t have an overview of all my UFOs anymore. When I get the urge to tidy up again, I often end up unraveling them.

But since many of my UFOs are ideas and test pieces for new patterns, I can’t just unravel them—they stay as they are until I’ve found the right solution. Are those even UFOs then? 

No, Petra, those are more like PiAs (projects in progress) or even PiGs (projects in the planning stage) 😄

I always have several projects going at once, and then there’s that box—that dreaded box... Everything in there is just waiting to be sewn together. 🙄
